Umm....

I could be wrong because I can not see the game but its seems like Winborn and Boss are in on alot of plays which makes me ask....are we playing a 3-4 right now. I heard the announcers say on more than one occasion Brees has a lot of time to throw cuz we are only rushing 3 down lineman......so are we playing 3-4 and is it effective at all....GO BRONCOS

I'm no expert, and I'm watching a crappy feed on the net

but it’s looking like we are playing it, but most 3-4’s still rush 4. It looks more like we’re in a permanent prevent D…

My grandpa used to say that the only thing Prevent Defense prevents is you winning

at least he was wrong this week

That is pretty much it on prevent defense.

It is the worst defense……period.

My dad almost lost it when we started that prevent crap

Tom Arnold, of Fox Sports Net's Best Damn Sports Show Period, said this about Warren Sapp: "Hey, Warren, the Raiders signed you to a seven-year deal. I guess Bill Callahan was right --- they are the dumbest team in America."

Looked like they were playing a hybrid 3-4 but pretty much zone coverage

Ugly, although I thought the defense did great against the run, but pass rush was not there, even when they blitzed, Brees had time.

It seemed like a 3-4

I am pretty upset about our defense atm. We should not need to score over 30 points to win at home. A win is a win but if our defense continues along this path we will not go deep into the playoffs.

3-man rush, soft zone = first down

the single biggest problem with this team right now. anyone care to explain why we are doing this? and before you do, i disagree with the scheme 100%, except for 3rd-and-forever, and very late in the game, with a lead. we need a real dc next season, and i don’t care about coaching continuity if this plan is the result. it’s a joke, i call it every time, and it fails every time. no. more. another win that’s just pissing me off. look at the film! 3-0, 2 heart attacks, and 1 big ?

positive: goal-line and short-yardage defense came up HUGE. way to step up webster, big day for the lb’s

hear me, perpetrators of bread crime, your punishment is at hand.

Just rushing three is idiotic

One of the oldest saws in the footbal book is that if you give a good QB enough time, he’s going to find someone open. Especially a very good QB like Brees.
Just rushing three let the Saints back into the game in the first half, after being behind 21-3. But the Broncos kept doing it! Absolutely idiotic.
