Fight breaks out out Raiders press conference.
Just about what I would expect at a Raiders conference.
The old man doing the threatening is John Herrera the PR guy for the Raiders and the Asian guy is Tim Kawakami a writer for the Mercury News.
Raider Fight Club - Reporter vs. PR Rep.
And people wonder why Lane wants out. This is just sad. How does an NFL franchise allow one of their employees to do this. Of course the reporter gets a little cocky and may have instigated it by accusing Herrera of spreading bad PR about Kiffin, but still this is a little extreme.

It wasn't a PR rep, it was a senior executive
John Herrera.

I have heard of teams
getting upset over news that is released by the local media, however I have never seen something like this in some time now. On the other hand the reporter looks like he is trying to get Herrera to do something stupid.

That's exactly what I thought.
Of course Herrera should have known better. I guess that’s why he is on the Raiders. :-P

Al's daughter once threw a tantrum during an exec meeting...
…(yes, she was an adult at the time and on the staff). She was throwing chairs and had to be removed.
Sad, but par for the course.

Sad???
That’s hillarious, long live the disfunction in Oakland, pretty soon they will resign from the NFL and go play in the CFL, and we won’t have to listen to their BS anymore,

What's funny is...
As much as the Raiders tout they are a family they have a bunch of people wanting to stab each other in the back first, which I can only assume they learned from Al Davis. and what is really funny is that I am sure they will be moving back to Los Angeles as soon as their lease is up in Oakland, once again showing that Al Davis could care less about his fans, his team, or the people that work for him, only his own over inflated ego. Long live Davis so he can continue to ruin the Raiders!

The faders put
Fun in dysfunctional.
Is there any reason this isnt the worst franchise right now. Last night fader homer JT the Brick on Fox Radio was bitching about how KC and STl are not getting killed in the media about how bad they are and the faders are. He tried to paint the picture on how the faders USE to be a good team and USE to have an owner who was brilliant. Now I do enjoy hating the faders, but I also think the NFL is a better league when these clowns are better than they have been. I would rather they be good than the wagon riders here in SD. But the culture that exists in Oakland has to be changed. Its not the 70’s anymore and the free-wheeling days are gone. The sooner Al realizes this and lets someone like Kiffin actually run his team the sooner they will get back to wins instead of losses. He hated the style of football Gruden ran he took the first opportunity to get rid of him. After Gruden left the faders won 11 games in 02, since then they have have 20. Have not even sniffed a possible playoff game since the great SB in San Diego.
