I believe that really good defenses will pressure QB Jay Cutler with a variety of blitz packages and force the Broncos to win games on defense. I don't see them getting a lot better defensively and once they slip in a somewhat-marginal division, they may fade late in the year.

Gee...weren't the Raiders and Chargers fairly good defense?
Oh well, I guess we will find out in two weeks when Tampa Bay comes to town. They are a “top tier” defense.

they say that now
until we show the experts that they must’ve been wrong about Tampa. All teams we face will have some excuse for being poor in the eyes of the MSM, I’m sure.

They did say that
Marshall will have a huge day (not that that is a great scoop or anything)!

Actually the opposite is true.
Denver has already demonstrated that they have the offensive line to block one on one, and they have the WRs to beat man to man coverage. Blitzing Culter only leads to more big plays by Marshall, Royal, Sheffler, Stokely.
The best thing defenses can do is to play cover 2 or 3, force long drives, hoping for a penalty, errant throw, a dropped pass, or inadequate run game in the red zone. It is the same thing defenses were left to hope for against the Colts offense a few years ago. Teams will have to hold the Denver Offense to FGs and hope to score TDs with their own offense to hope to outscore them.
