Making a Move
Usually the NFL trade deadline, the most boring trade deadline out of the main trio of professional sports, passes with maybe little excitement. If any trades even do occur, it's usually like a Pinball Machine from team A's rec room for Team B's towel boy.
And with week 6 fast approaching, I wondered if anyone thought we should make a move, maybe pick up a disgruntled player or two. I think we do need some help in a few areas, defensive line being the most obvious, so I would not be disappointed if we were to. I recall Guru saying that if we think were close to being a great team, we should make a move to push us over the edge.
Just post your opinion on if we should make a move, who we should go after, and who could be on the market.

If Shanny made a concerted effort to get high character guys on this football team,
why would he go out and trade for a disgruntled low character guy from another team? I think we just need to suffer through the growing pains of this organization and in a couple of years we will all be happy as clams watching Jay Cutler hoist the Lombardi Trophy over Denver.

Disgruntled doesn't mean low character
Zimm was disgruntled in Minnesota after all. However, I agree that we should probably just suffer the growing pains and plan for the future

Keep in mind
that our roster is tight too. They are keeping a spot warm for Torain, and we have no depth at guard, so I’m not sure who we would cut to even bring someone in…
And isn’t Powell our PUP guy? That means he could be back this season, but I don’t see how…. could they be keeping a spot in mind for him?
