I'm a Little Nervous about Mondays Game.

I just did this post at the faiders site--gotta fairly good response. What do you think?

I'm a little nervous that the once great (now oldy, moldy) tradition of the faider nation is just pretending to be a great franchise. In fact it seems you are pretending to be team--that matters anyway. I'm not as nervous about the game this Monday as I am what it will do to all you great faider fans--when we come in and show you the way a really great franchise moves forward--I am afraid you will be confused.

Some of you will become 49'ers fans--knowing that faider nation is lost--some of you will lose interest in football--the very few smart of you will become Bronco fans.

I know this is hard to understand, yet, becoming a Bronco fan is very easy. First you have to accept reallity--your faider nation is on life support--and losing. We Broncos have the best owner, who lets the best coach make some, if not all, of the calls. That is as far as I go in that direction.

I'm really nervous that you faider fans (at least the ones with lesser minds) will hate us forever--just because of the way we rout you this coming Monday. I hope that a few of you will 'let go' of your dieing cause--become Bronco fans--and be happy for years to come.

I could be wrong, but I believe a Raider is an old, old wooden ship that was used during the Civil War era.

Just for karma’s sake, I think we should hold off on boasting until AFTER we rout them.

Purple Row's resident entertaining pessimistic asshole. Somehow the incarnation of crusty goo. Is this a good thing? Who knows.

I've always thought...

That before the game is when real fans smack talk…not after. Afterwards, if you win you keep your mouth shut and if you lose you say congratulations and start smack talking the next game.

I hate it when fans won’t say anything before a game and afterwards won’t shut up.

Straight is the way and narrow the path and few there are that find it--at least concerning faiders.
