AFC West

Phyllis and his merry men aren't too merry today after what the Panthers did to them yesterday.  Sunday's game in Denver is CRITICAL for both teams.  Let's hope Denver can get them to 0-2.  See here

The Missouri Indians lost yesterday, but they took out Tom Brady for the season.  Peter King is still weeping as we speak.  This season just got even more interesting.  See here and here

That is all I have for today.  The quest is on and the season is ripe for the picking if they want it enough.  GO BRONCOS!!!

Written by Vic Carucci on nfl.com:

The San Diego Chargers are better than they showed against the Carolina Panthers. They suffered a heartbreaking loss, to be certain, but they still have the talent and explosiveness that should allow them to win the soft AFC West and still make a strong run to the Super Bowl.
How can the Chargers not be encouraged with the performance of Philip Rivers (17-of-27 for 217 yards and three touchdowns and no interceptions) after he underwent offseason knee surgery? He looked as poised and as confident as ever, showing clear strides that he is emerging as a top quarterback. LaDainian Tomlinson remains the gold standard among NFL running backs and Antonio Gates, despite leaving the game in the first half with a bruised hip, still caught a touchdown pass as did San Diego’s other big-play target, Vincent Jackson.
Losing in the final two seconds to a strong Panther team that can go places with a healthy Jake Delhomme under center is no disgrace.

I hate reading this! Hopefully they will talk over a strong Broncos-team after SD is 0-2!

Freaking Chargers

I figured the Panthers would be dogshit without Steve Smith and I took the Chargers in my eliminator pool…

Like what is said from a recdnt former Raider

Warren Sapp – “Shanahan’s going to get into that nasty little double tight end set that he likes, put it in motion, find out if you’re in man-to-man defense or Cover 3 because those are the basic coverages that you get, and then he’ll attack — run the ball.” Sapp also said, “I know the system Oakland plays . . . (the Raiders) are in trouble.”

Let’s see this theory in motion !!!!Go Orange n Blue baby!!!!
