report: merriman out for season

ESPN jsut had a report on tv stating that Merriman is in fact out for the season now.  He has given in to the recommendations of doctors and will sit out for the rest of the year.  I can't wait for the game next weekend when we sit atop the division with a two game lead!  they are a paper tiger and we will exspose them.  still not quite 75 words but almost there. finally

Crazy year for injuries...

I’m recalling a report that Jacksonville lost a couple of starting guards this weekend as well. Could be misremembering though.

no that's true

one of them for the season with a torn ACL/MCL, the other out indefinitely with a ruptured bicep. They just signed a couple replacements off the scrap heap today….

This season just keeps getting better and better.

Michael Fabiano really knows nothing about football outside of regression analysis and stat extrapolation. If it doesn’t have to do with fantasy football, his opinion is worthless.

Hope this ain't an excuse from San Diego

I really can’t stand Merriman, but I don’t wish him harm, but I don’t want San Diego crying that they just aren’t the same team without MMerriman and that’s why they lost. Injuries happen all the time, good teams deal with it, bad teams use them for excuses.

Finally...

…an ounce of sanity in this situation.

I couldn’t believe he was going to try and play.

I don't think we want to wish harm on anyone...

but I will just say Merriman has never been one of my favorite players.

I agree - no harm on anyone

I’ve always wanted my team to beat the other team when they were at full strength.
