Broncos New OC

It's going to be Mike McCoy, QB coach of the Carolina Panthers. With McDaniels calling the plays and running an offense with Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall, Royal, et al. , that's a pretty cushy job, eh? Nice. McCoy played QB at Long Beach State and Utah before bouncing around the NFL, NFL Europe and the CFL. He spent nine season total on the Carolina staff, most recently as QB coach. Jake Delhomme's last game not withstanding.

Could make sense

Carolina is the other team in the league (besides New England) to combine the Erhardt-Perkins offensive system with zone blocking. The Denver Post recently reported that Jeff Davidson, the former Broncos offensive lineman who is now the OC for Carolina, was a candidate for OC here, but that didn’t make a lot of sense as he’s under contract to Carolina for the same position.

RMN is reporting that Dennison is staying on as O-line coach and Turner is staying as RB coach…very good news!

This is definitely not true (or at least not reported by a credible source), come up with some real news.

I would love to know who our new offensive coordinator is, but I am not going to make it up and cite my own source.

I hear that McCoy and McDaniels share the same agent and the Broncos are waiting for Jeremy Bates to be hired on with Detroit as the OC before announcing McCoy’s new position.
