As time keeps passing, it seems like it's way less likely that Bates has a position on the Broncos. If Dunnison is staying and McDaniels is calling plays then Bates is the odd man out.
I'm sure at this point he would rather take the Raider's job, but I could see him being intriged by the Detriot job. They have the number 1 pick in the draft and another 1st rounder from the Cowboys.
Detroit has some serious problems and the QB is one of them, I don't see Kitna as the long term answer there. With Matt Sanchez declaring himself eligible for the Draft I could see the Lions going after him.
