Rick Dennison to stay with Broncos
According to the article that was recently posted, Rick Dennison will stay with the Broncos. Note that this was also posted by the MHR poster "studbucket" 9 minutes ago.
Hopefully, this will keep the line going at a high level. Not sure what McHoodie has planned. My guess is that Rick would be willing to play the good soldier if he is willing to stay with the Broncos. I would also guess the McHoodie will be willing to keep Rick on.

This is great news, as you may remember I wanted Dennison
as Head Coach————But I’m a Bronco Fan, and I support our team, I also support Mr Bowlen,
and as time passes, I like most of you have come to realize——-we needed a change.
McHoodie (love that wyoeng ) is our future, and I for one am excited. As he puts his staff
together, This man is on a mission of success——Lets all climb on board——-THE ORANGE EXPRESS.

McHoodie
should be MHR’s official nickname for Josh, if there could ever be such a thing.
Thanks to Mike Shanahan, a great coach who will be dearly missed. But...
Let's all get on the Mac Daddy Express!
Hillis for starter next year. He wears special thigh pads so his solid brass balls don't give him repeated thigh contusions.

on 104 the Fan Armstrong is saying there is a big rumor Shanny to KC
Its just a rumor but he said he has received a phone call about it. I would not be happy with that news. Shanny please go outside the division

Would he accept a position as coach only? Tampa seems more likely

Great news
Dennison is a highly underrated coach in my eyes. He’s done an absolutely wonderful job with the guys this year and with his re-hiring, I hope it persuades Casey to stay. It also points to us keeping the ZBS – and why not, after all, the line has now spent a year together and should be better at run blocking and the pass blocking should remain immaculate.
I think Dennison gets far too much stick from fans as being a worthless cog or one of Shanahan’s yes-men. Since Gibbs left, our line’s been through a lot of troubles from injuries to guys like Lepsis and Nalen to starting worthless bums like Foster, yet we’ve still had a decent running game in recent years such as in 2005…and in 2006 and 2007 we lasted out the season with a bunch of change-of-pace backs and still got respectable YPC. In my mind, Dennison may well surpass Gibbs this season as a coach if the guys show they can run block as well as they can pass block.

My issue with Dennison was his disastrous run as ST coach. But, seeing our ST’s still mired in mediocrity since he left that spot as well as his work with the OL has changed my opinion of him. He’s always gotten high marks from fellow coaches and players.

Where did you get that idea...
The only time our special teams were special was when Dennison was coach. We lead the league in several categories and actually used to score touchdowns on returns. I know it doesn’t seem like it, but there’s nothign in the NFL rules that says the Broncos aren’t allowed to return kicks for touchdowns.

When do you think Dennison was our ST's coach?
I’ll have to dig it up, but, yes, ST’s were indeed terrible under Dennison.

97 - 99 the Super Bowl Years
We ranked 1st in average drive start and were in the top 1/3 in several other categories. Darien Gordon had several punt returns for touchdowns.
Where are your statistics that say STs were terrible?

Wow...
Imagine Jay Cutler running the NE passing game, Marshal as Moss, Royal as Welker, with all the other weapons as well, then combine that with the Broncos running game of 2005 with Hillis as Mike Anderson and Tatum Bell as ….well Tatum Bell.

I really like the combination
of Dennison and Turner. I think the zone block, one cut style of running game fits us very well. This is very good news in my book.

So does this mean that Dennison will be our OC?
Or will he be the line coach and are we still looking for an OC?
