For Albuquerque Broncos fans.....

Because of last season, I felt compelled to write a fanpost. I'm not sure where to start with this, but in the 2007 season the Broncos Radio network was broadcast on 94 Rock in Albuquerque. In 2008 however, the Broncos radio games were nowhere to be found. I called the Clear Channel offices before the season started, but got nowhere and had no luck contacting a station manager.

Last I checked, the Broncos Radio Network broadcasted games in the Farmington and Raton areas. What is revolting about not having the Broncos or even the Cardinals (who are the two closest teams geographically) on the radio. Instead they have the Cowboys and the conquered fader nation. That is beyond wrong!

As nice as it is to watch the Broncos on TV, listening to the play by play at times is aggravating. I'd rather turn the TV down and listen to Dave and Dave.

If any of you have an idea on how the Broncos can come back to a radio station in the Albuquerque area, please by all means comment below.

Why do you hate Albuquerque

I found I had a love/hate thing about Albuquerque:

Loved the food and my friends and the weather

Hated poverty, lack of entertainment, and general stupidity of local and state government, also had no urge to raise my child there (schools stink).

Problem is Denver has a lack of decent paying jobs right now too. And I am not too fond of the Albuquerque PD, seems they only give a rats ass if someone dies and ther usally are way to itchy to pull the trigger themselves, speaking from personnel experience of seeing my buddy get his head kicked in for nothing and me getting jumped by three dudes, we identified them and yet no arrests.

I will be moving to Albuquerque next year

I have always lived in Colorado Springs so I have easy access to Broncos radio. Can you get the Denver sports stations on the internet radio?

You can get KOA over the internet

But it is delayed, so if you are on a blog you will see stuff happen a lot faster than you hear it over the internet.

Having lived in Albuquerque for 10 years, 94 rock is run by a bunch of tools

Why that station even exists is beyond me, TJ trout is a stupid cross eyed hack trying to do a lame Howard stern impression, I used to be neighbors to the orginal weather and traffic lady Robin and she didn’t have very many nice things to say about the management there. The sports station is also run by clowns (760 AM ?) can’t remember, I would suggest calling the alternative FM station (106?) and seeing if they would have interest, but I know license agreements with NFL teams can be bothersome, but I agree that Albuquerque should be broadcasting Bronco games over Cowboys and Raiders, damn shame. I really think there are more Bronco fans there but they aren’t the loud and idiotic like the Cowboy and Raider fans so they get more attention. I was sometimes able to get KOA (especially at night) if you live up in the hills.

Albuquerque usally shows the Broncos, so direct TV is a waste

The only time they weren’t on is when there was a conflict with the Cowboys game (like both games were afternoon games and Fox had the double header, then they would show some crap morning game because they were obligated to.

we are talking radio (dave and dave) only......

broncos games are being broadcast on TV as long as it is on CBS….if there is a game on FOX, and the Broncos and Cowboys are on at the same time, the Cowboys get the nod.

I got direct TV in Las Cruces thinking I would be missing out on the games

Biggest waste of money, only needed it for 1 game, every other game was on TV.

Same thing happened to me this year!

I think I only needed Sunday Ticket 1 or 2 times this year and they’ve raised the price $100 since I first signed up 8 years ago (up to $250)! I’m going to have to seriously consider whether I keep next season or not.

I don’t know if they’ll be shown more or less on the national/LA channels with a whole coaching staff and am worried that if I don’t get it, I’ll miss the whole rebuilding season.
