Teamwork for the new Broncos

Let's hope that whoever the new head coach is that he brings energy, spirit, and drive back to the team that was once famous for the Orange Crush defense.  When they were beat by San Diego, it was because San Diego wanted the win, as demonstrated by their next winning playoff game.  Just showing up does not get it with the loyal Denver fans.  To keep loyal fans returning year after year requires supporting a team that plays as a team and demonstrates a willingness to win.  Good luck Big D.  We will be driving from Montana to support our great Broncos next season.

Welcome to MHR

You will like it here at MHR and will not find a better place to get a ton on info on the Broncos. If there is breaking news, someone here will post it. Have fun fans in montana.

We will get back to our winning ways once we get a defense and hopefully our new coach will get things in line, especially in the draft.

We were beat by SD because we have no solid running game or a defense. The only thing that pisses me more about SD beating the Colts is that we gave them the division…..crap.

Welcome to MHR

I have almost forgotten what an Orange Crush defense looks like….

This is my GAP, there are many like it but this one is mine. Without my GAP I am useless, without me, they will run through my GAP. I will protect my GAP and have my brothers back on his. I will not be moved from my GAP, I am a crazed dog that patrols this area and will defeat all who entire it. I own this GAP, it is mine. I bought it with blood and sweat. I will not be pushed. I will not be moved. This Sunday I will make a stand and a statement.

+1

yes…please can we get something besides a few strings of paper dolls…please!?

I don’t want breakaway speed. I want break-some-poor-fool-as-I-bowl-you-over power getting 6 yards off a play that should have been stopped for 2 at most.

Well spoken fans in montana

One other thing I would like to see in the 2009 Broncos is fourth quarter dominance. That was a hallmark of the Denver Broncos from the early sixties until very recently. Historically, we owned the fourth quarter.
Thanks for the post, welcome aboard.

Yes, that would be a nice change

May also want to go back to getting a good end to the 2nd qtr, seemed like we also had bad 2nd qtrs this year, basically would start strong and then get beat after the other teams made adjustments.

Dan Reeves entire approach

seemed like the entire time he was HC Reeves’ strategy was to use his defense to keep it close and try to win in the 4th quarter. Very few blowouts unless the D jumped all over the other team early (like a MNF game against GB in the snow). Say what you will about his SB collapses but his teams won a lot more than they lost.

Not to be picky,

but didn’t we barely hold on to win that game 17-14 :)

Typical Reeves game!

New Coach

If the new coach has the success of either Reeves or Shanahan ten years from we will be saying that the hiring was a success. I’ll take the next Reeves, the next Shanahan, heck…even the next Red Miller.
