Mornin nyc, Thanks...
Real Power, comes with the realization that One cannot change the Moment;
only ones perception of it: Atitude! JQM
Thanks NYC
And congratumalations, Mr. Moreno!! Make us proud!!
Conversation nonstarters: hoping McDaniels fails, comparing Bears to Broncos, Cutler to Orton, apples to oranges, and casual drinkers to Raiders fans.
Thanks Nyc

Nice to see Greek getting a little screen time on the Tour Through Time
and how cool is it to see Bill B’s office at the old Broncos headquarters! Broncos tradition runs deep, man. DEEP.
Great story about Rich Karlis and Joe Collier, too.
And with due respect to our old friend Andrew Mason, but I love how db.com is doing their Broncos TV these days. Nice long segments, well edited, on a broad selection of topics. Kudos to the Broncos media team — Mase’s legacy lives on proudly!

Thanks for the Horse Tracks, NYC.

Thanks NYC!
There’s not a chance in hades that BDawk sits this out. No way. I just hope however serious his injuries are they don’t become compounded with the more that he plays.

The best thing about sports...
You know what’s great about sports for me right now?
When a star players goes from your favorite college team (Louisville) to the Pros (Denver) and is just as productive and becomes a star (Elvis “Is Definitely in the Building” Dumervil)

I hear you
Clady BSU and now CladyDB. Sort of a golden era for me. Unfortunately my Clady jersey is cursed so I can’t wear it on gameday! :_(

Also....
….what’s up with Michael Lombardi spreading the Orton hate during that podcast? I didn’t think he was a hater?
by Gristle McThornbody on Oct 10, 2009 9:34 AM MDT reply actions
Lombardi is a contrarian above all else. Before the Dallas game, he had Denver (20) ranked below Tennessee in his weekly power rankings. The thinking was, with a lot of media types starting to give Denver credit, he wanted to be among first off the band wagon when we lost to Dallas
Love the Broncos. Mike Nolan is a genius.
Maybe you are
confusing him with Vic Lombardi?

NYC. Can someone at MHR please list the inactive players before each Bronco game. I always have a hard time finding this info and ESPN is unreliable. Just last week, ESPN listed DJ Williams as inactive.
Love the Broncos. Mike Nolan is a genius.
I always go with NFL.com injury reports
much more reliable….
Except when they have a " — " as the player’s game-time status…. Anyone know what that means?
First team to three consecutive SB wins!!!! and then some, right? I think four and we oughtta let someone else have a fair shot : )

Good idea, McG. I’ve actually found myself watching games this year also not knowing who’s active/inactive. We’ll see what we can do…

They are posted every week
In the Pre-Game/1st quarter thread I post the inactive for the Broncos. If the other team is available before the game I post those as well. I also Tweet the inactives.

Randy Moss will not go head-to-head against Champ Bailey...
Champ Bailey only plays one side of the field….Randy Moss will be going up against the other guy. :P

Coupla Stories
At NFL.com “Blogs Around The Web”
By and large, Broncos fans were angered when first-year coach Josh McDaniels drove gunslinging quarterback Jay Cutler to the point that he wanted out of town,
When will the media get the BIG LIE story laid to rest? arggghhhh. “By and large” many Broncos fans were misled by the media into that emotion.
Same story links to:
Chicago Tribune “In Denver, they’re using the ‘f’ word to describe Kyle Orton” as in “franchise quarterback” and quotes Brandon Stokley:
“I definitely think we’ve got a franchise quarterback,” Stokley said. “You don’t have to have all the flash and the strongest arm in the world — and Kyle does have a strong arm, by the way,” Stokley said. "But you don’t have to throw the ball 100 mph and do all these dynamic things with the ball. You just need to win games and get the job done. You can be a franchise quarterback that way
Oh, and just as a reminder….Orton is 17-2 at home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
High Praise!!!!
ESPN has a photo listing our very own Knowshon Moreno with Manning, Brady and Steve Smith. Rookie of the week, listed #4 in the running for ROY at Scout.com, KnoMo is getting better and better.

Another good picture is of McDaniels with Bilichick looking at him like “what the heck you just whupped me” Also note McD’s enthusiasm doing a high-five
