Thank You from Pats Pulpit

Hello Broncos faithful,

a quick note to say THANK YOU to all who have blogged with us Patriots fans.  It's been one of the best interactions I've had in a long time.  I've had a lot of fun and learned a great deal in the process.  The conversations have been full of knowledge, passion, and respect - the holy trinity for me.  It seems very much like the interactions between Hoodie and Hoodie Jr.  Funny how that's worked.

Thanks again and here's to an entertaining, injury free game.  BTW: I'm officially starting a mass revolt against the Patriots' logo of today.  "Pat Patriot", the logo worn on this Sunday's Patriots helmet, is much cooler. ;-)

Pats fans have been great

Both here and there. Very classy.

It didn’t hurt your cause that you love our coach. :-) And we appreciate what your coach has taught ours.

I didn’t participate in the discussions between us but read most of them. Awesome, it’s great when intelligent, thoughtful fans can get together and have a chat without it being reduced to name-calling and “my team is going crush your team!”.

Also, I agree, your Pat Patriot logo is kick-ass! I’m a pretty big fan of our throwback too, and I have to say I am excited to see our striped socks as well… I can’t believe more people aren’t excited about them!

bully, maPats!

agreed on your logo, and i would add that any time the broncs want to go back to the snorting-horse-in-the-big-D or “crazy bow-legged horse” logos, i’m in for that as well. enough of the robotic early 90’s crap logos for all of us!

by oxmouth on Oct 10, 2009 6:23 PM MDT reply actions

I know lots of people that would like to go back to the ’Denver D" loge…not so many that want the ’horse on acid". ;-)

"C" is for Championship...that's good enough for meeeee!!!

someday...

those same crazy-acid-horse haters will be hating on the disturbing robot-man-horse (with human body). i will keep the torch of crazy-acid-horse until the masses are ready for his return.

The Pats and Broncos logos have a lot in common...

They might have looked cool in the ’90s, but now they look like… Well, like they might have looked cool in the ’90s. Totally X-Treme!

hahah

x-treme for sure.

you couldn't be more right about your logo

The old logo was way, way cool. The new one is just, eh. Why did they mess with something so perfect? I have a patriots pencil from when I was a kid with the old logo and I don’t really want to use it because I like it so much.

Not a fan, to be honest.

Thank YOU MaPatsFan!

I didn’t post on Patspulpit but did enjoy reading the posts there. You guys are also knowledgeable, passionate and respectful, and I really enjoyed my visit there, as well as your posts here.

One of the things I noticed was it “seemed like” your folks interjected a lot of humor into some of the replies. I enjoyed that, even though there seemed like a fair amount of thread-hijack for the humor. Some of those tangents really cracked me up!

Again, thank you and your Pats brethren for your interaction. May the best team win today, and here’s hoping your Pats go 14-2 and today marks your last loss of the regular season!

Thanks bro, good luck to you guys

I remeber when I was a little kid my dad gave me a red Pats shirt with the old logo on it and I loved it and wore it all the time. Just because of that they we’re my second favorite team behind the Broncos. Those jerseys still look sweet today, you guys really need to switch back to those!
