Never too early to start thinking about San Diego. To me, this is the biggest game of the year and the win I want more than any other - until the next game that is.

This game is HUGE.
This will be the third straight hard fought game and a win would the perfect way to go into out bye week.
Come on Broncos, Monday is time for us to take the AFC West back.

I can't seem to get it to play
5 minutes of waiting is too much for me. I caught about 3-5 seconds of it.

you didn't miss much...
just a little bit of Norv “Old Gobbler” Turner yapping about how important divisional games are and how the team will be ready.

Thanks

I'll bet they never expected to be this worried about playing the Broncos this year . . .

Well, they aren't overlooking us.
Damn it. THe mood over there seems like it’s shaky hope built on a styrofoam foundation on the San Andreas fault. Sounds like they are nervous, but those nerves are good. I hope our Broncos are nervous about how hungry the chargers will be. Still, if wa stop the running game, and pressure Rivers, and get turnovers, and convert third downs, and adjust at half time, and do all the things we have been doing well over 5 weeks, we win. I like preparation. See my sig line.

I got a Question. Is a tackle for a loss out of the Wildcat considered a sack?
San Diego will be hungry...
It is very difficult to play a team with their backs against the wall at home. We will need to be prepared and focused, just as we have every week so far this season. Now is not the time to, as Dawkins would say “hang our hat” on what we have accomplished thus far. Keep getting better each week.
I hate San Diego, now is not a time to let up. Go Broncos!!!
Here's the key:
chargers WILL be up for the game, but rolling primarily on emotion and professional pride:
The will not have confidence, nor faith in each other, nor the bright glow of a team beginning to reveal itself….
In short, they will not have what we have. And our grounds for confidence are firmer, our foundation is stronger.
This game we must lock them down early: the “spot you 10 points while we find your jugular” approach from weeks 4 and 5 is great, but we have two options with the chargers:
1) a drag-out, penalty- and injury-ridden game against a desparate team hanging on to the idea that if they just win here, all will be well…and we still win 24-17
2) a solid, steady dismantling of a faded, soul-less opponent whose magic hole card of the artful deep ball is revealed to be a birthday present for Champ, Dawkins, Hill, Goodman, Smith, Williams, et al….and we win 44-7
And I think the arc will be set by the end of the bolts’ first posession.
But it’s like an old Dirty Harry movie: the Chargers can go down the hard way, or the easy way…either way, they’re going down.
Your gotta love this team. We are TRULY blessed to be Broncos fans this year. And that coming from an athiest.

The spot you 10 points thing needs to end Monday.
We need to come out firing and get an early lead. The first 5-10 minutes of the game are crutial.

Precisely.

Backs against the wall, home field advantage, etc. still don’t change the fact that they are responsible for where they are coming into this game. I don’t see them deviating much from their inability to run or stop the run. They’ve made themselves one-dimensional on both sides of the ball, and it’s brought them to the point they are now.
Do I think we should be scared of this team? No.
Do I think we should be wary of them? Absolutely.
We have confidence born from sustained success, continuously improving execution, and emergence of playmakers like Marshall, Moreno, J MF’n Williams, Smith, and on and on.
The Chargers? They have desperation and a roster full of players on the decline. That’s about it.

I remember this Kevin Acee guy predicting before the season started...
that these two games against the Broncos would be easy wins for the Chargers. I love watching these windbags eat crow. Have a little orange kool-aid to wash that down with.
I don’t think anyone outside of Denver saw this kind of success.
Acee is definitely not somebody I’d call a windbag. He calls a spade a spade.

Is it just me
or does Norv Turner sound like he’s 80? He doesn’t look old, but I closed my eyes and he sounded like my 90 year old grandfather. I guess, I have never really heard him speak before.
