Who would've "known"
So during the broadcast on Sunday, one of the announcers said something about "we were wondering if it was MoRAYno or MoREEno, and Knowshon straightened that out for us". What's the verdict? Apparently, Knowshon told them that his name is pronounced MoRAYno.
I'll tell you, I was a little irked at the beginning of the season with the pronunciation guide that comes with the depth chart over at denverbroncos.com said his name is pronounced "mo-REE-no", because knowing a little bit of Spanish as I do, when I see a name like "Moreno" I definitely want to say "mo-RAY-no". However, the depth chart said different, so I began stumbling over myself every time I saw and said Knowshon's name in an attempt to get used to the awkward (to me at least) pronunciation. Sure enough, the announcers were calling him mo-REE-no (for the most part) in the first few games.
And now our good folks at CBS have apparently determined this was wrong all along! Sure enough, the depth chart at denverbroncos.com has been updated to say "mo-RAY-no". Well, I'm glad I can go back to the "old" pronunciation. Very odd series of events, IMO.

I just call him "27"
I am pretty sure I am pronouncing THAT right.
I think.
Don't argue with fools. It's how they reproduce.
