Clayton, Schlereth, Dukes looking VERY STUPID video
I didn't make this but if you enjoy watching "experts" look like "idiots" you'll enjoy this. Promise.

It is so funny to see these guys parading around as if they knew the first thing about the teams they pass judgement on. It was very gratifying watching them put in their place. Who do you think actually knew more about how The Broncos would perform this year? Clayton, Schlereth, Dukes, or Rod Smith who actually visits the team head quarters and talks with the coaches and players? I am going with Rod Smith.

Great job, Cali
Hope someone distributes that sucka worldwide! ^^ I’ll tweet a link!
Conversation nonstarters: hoping McDaniels fails, comparing Bears to Broncos, Cutler to Orton, apples to oranges, and casual drinkers to Raiders fans.

Nice work man.
I’ve been waiting for someone to do this, and it’s masterful. Did you send this to AJ @ Deadspin? This vid should garner “deleted scenes” treatment at the very least.

That was AWESOME!!!!
They should have disclaimer before they give any predictions. Something like: “This are trained idiots, please do attempt to believe or act on anything they say. This content is not recommended for younger viewers as cursing and violence may ensue after viewing. ESPN and the NFL Network are not responsible for any damages your television.”

Right double on!!!!!
Too bad the NFL doesn’t have the balls to roll the tape back and call those turkeys on their ignorance. Rod Smith called it in aces and Stink, come on traitor where the hell was your home work on YOUR home team for hell’s sake?

Rod Smith’s Prediction For Eddie Royal Comes True
When the greatest receiver in Broncos history tells you your time is going to come, there’s no reason to doubt it.
So far, Smith has had McDaniels’ back, helped Marshall get right, and kept Royal’s head in the game. To me, that makes him a huge part of the Broncos’ success this year, and even more reason why he should go to the Hall of Fame. ESPECIALLY given where he came from, undrafted! An amazing guy, possibly my favorite Bronco of all time.

He's been awesome.
They should start cutting him some checks.

Make Rod Smith assistant wide receivers coach
I remember the Broncos making Steve Watson a wide receivers coach and it looks like Rod coaching them up for free.Plus it would give him the opportunity to put more superbowl fings on the rest of his fingers

i dont know...
rod smith has got to be one of the classiest most clutch players in denver broncos history (my #80 broncos jersey looks a little sweeter after that vid…) great to watch him drop some knowledge on a pompous moron, who looks down his nose at ‘pitiful homer’ rod smith.

Jamie Dukes is the Reverend Al Sharpton of NFL sports analyst
They are both blooming idiots and Schlereth isn’t any better. Pimple head (John Clayton) never got to play flag football with the neighborhood kids and doesn’t know anything about the game except running his sewer tasting mouth. Is the punk even married? Who in the world would have him?

I always thought
Rod was a bit divine or had some special powers, but DAMN!!! Great video! I love how these people spoke with such authority before, as Rod said, the Broncos even laced their cleats. Morons!

my guess is that Schlereth is a Shanahan diehard
Schlereth wouldn’t be where he is today without Shanny, and so I’m thinking he felt obligated to trash anything going on in McDanielsville. Definitely the same thing with Rick Reilly.
Man, those late 90s offenses were good. John Elway, Rod Smith, Gary Zimmerman, Terrell Davis, and Shannon Sharpe all in the same starting 11! I know Shanahan is a genius and all, but that talent kind of makes it hard not to be.
by jakester on Oct 13, 2009 11:10 PM MDT reply actions 0 recs
You may be right.
And Clayton just doesn’t know what he’s talking about fifty percent of the time. He’s one of those guys that makes you think: “How do you think you know all this stuff? You’ve never played or coached. You’re just a guy who hangs around the sport.”
All these ex players on television who are already in over their heads as analysts (I’m looking at you Dukes) and I am supposed to believe some egghead nobody who’s never played a down in his life just because he’s wearing a tie and went to a fancy private college?
I know, that’s harsh – and I point out Clayton here not just because of his off-season thoughts on the Broncos (although I do enjoy slagging on him) but because to me he’s a perfect example of the Self Proclaimed Expert (SPE). Sure, you don’t have to have played the game to have some insight on it. But some of these guys who pass themselves off as gurus make me wonder just what credentials they think they have, other than a press pass and a nice suit.
But it’s a free country. That’s why they invented the remote control. Guys like Dukes, Clayton, Schlereth and for that matter Kornheiser are some of the reasons I always have an alternate channel programmed in and ready to bail to. LOL
And isn’t it funny how much more intelligent Rod Smith sounds than Jamie Dukes? Wait…no it isn’t. It’s HILARIOUS.
I love the video. This is going out to everyone I know. LOL
Good job.

Anyone with video of Eric Allen...?
…on NFL LIVE saying Broncos would have the #1 pick in the draft next year? Another guy who shouldn’t be pulling a check.

Mark...Mark...Mark
Wow, I am completely stunned by Stink’s “garbage” comment. What is actually garbage is his comment. I can’t believe someone who was been a part of the Super Bowl winning Broncos organization could be so harsh. The maligned front 7, Stink is among the top teams in sacks. Stink owes our defense and the entire organization an apology. Rod Smith continues to be the “MAN” and all class. I love it when the NFLN crew is discussing the first five games and Smith says I see 5-0. The only other clip I would have added is when Brandon Marshall was in studio and said that Orton was a good quarterback and Dukes was over the top saying, " I have to write that down…Kyle Orton…good quarterback". That would be perfect especially since he just won AFC offensive player of the Week!!

Rod Smith is a TRUE Bronco
In my opinion Rod smith is one of the greatest Broncos EVER. Look he is still helping the team win. Where has Elway been? Stink? He has been bashing the Broncos for years. Rod Smith to the Hall of Fame and Ring of Fame. A class act all the way!

In Rod We Trust
Thanks for putting those clips together! If NFL Network had any integrity they’d invite Rod back on the show this week and put him up there next to Dookie but they won’t. Just like Rick Reilly, instead they will pretend the 2009 Broncos don’t exist. The punditry are a bunch of posers.

Turnabout's Fair Play
OK. They bashed the Broncos. Turnabout’s fair play! We get to bash them! I admit though that I will be glad when this hate relationship with the MSM ends. My concern is that it will become a love relationship that will be just as misleading.

That is a great vid!
Love the pop up commentary boxes………LMAO
Rod Smith is the MAN!! They looked at him like he was stupid when he said he saw 5-0, I think my favorite part was when he said something to the effect of “you guys don’t know what is going on in that building”……….basically saying, I do know what is going on inside the organization so stick that where it doesn’t shine ESPN analist.
