BMarsh's Best Play so Far What do you think?
Bmarsh tore it up with his TD catch and run against 5 Cowboy DBS, then gave great props to Daniel Graham for being the kind of guy to hustle down the field and escort him into the end zone.
Against New England he showed exactly why no sane coordinator will match him man to man on that back shoulder TD play that he made look SOOO easy.
But to me his best play so far was against NE he was 12-15 yards deep the Pass was tipped about 20 yards up and 4 yards back form Orton and 4 or 5 NE linemen were licking their chops, Brandon comes in and spikes it straight down. No stats no accolades just a play for the team. WOOOOHOOOO!

I'd say it was none of the above.
I liked his first TD in the NE game. He was on the outside of the defender. He looked back for the ball and cut across the cornerback and made a play on the ball. It’s a heads up play by Marshall and a great decision by Orton to just throw it out there to him and let Brandon make the play.

OOPS
That’s what I get for trying this newfangled technology I crossed up his first catch with the 2nd. Oh well I still like #3. This place is great. Less than 5 minutes and somebody straightens you out :)

It's understandable.
You could realistically put both of his TD passes on there. The first one was a great readjustment to the ball. The second one was a great catch and broken tackle for a TD. BMarsh just has so many great plays, it’s hard to pick just one.

i think the “biggest team contribution” is probably the dallas play
but one of the plays that impressed me the most was when he batted down that tipped ball against the patriots. just an incredibly smart thing to do… after i saw that i was like, “wow, that’s just a really smart play. nicely done, brandon.”

How about the 2nd to last play of NE game...
McD called a go route and Marshall made sure the ball wasn’t intercepted. The next play, we kick the FG and win. He is playing at the absolute top right now…

Agree and Disagree
While I do like the line of thinking, I think a distinction has to be made between most important to the team, and most important to the spectators. The way I look at it, in the Dallas game he had one standout play, compared to 4 plays that caught my eye in the NE game. Firstly, I like this trend because a BMarsh getting better has to give DC’s and CB’s around the league the sh!#s. Secondly, I believe that while the 51 yard catch and run was a great play, and the game winning TD, I don’t think this play was very important to that game. It was already tied and I think we could have burned the rest of the clock on other plays and kicked the winner as time expired just as easily, though not nearly as spectacularly. Also not that important to a spectator either IMHO as we all already knew he was capable of these plays (he’s BMarsh, c’mon). The 4 plays against NE were the 2 TD’s and the 2 INT protections. I believe that they were all important to the success of our broncos in that close game, with the exception that, again, we could have scored the TD’s with other stars, and his skill goes without saying. The two plays where he saved the pick tho, I believe were even more pivotal to the W, and to me showed a head’s up player who is focused, and alert, and playing for the team more so than I ever saw in him before. We all knew he was a top shelf receiver in every way, and now we know he’s a top shelf teammate too.
