I done did it again!
Anyways, if you saw the video, then you know a little bit about my humor and you know a little more about who I am and how I operate. I don't censor anything, and I don't feel the need to either. I'm not exactly a "clean humor" kind of guy, but I know when to lay off the spice of the English language that we call "four letter words". Anyways, if you saw my previous video, thanks for watching and rating it on YouTube. With that, I bring you my second installment of the "fail series" for our 2009 Broncos. Enjoy my friends, and don't forget to jump on over to YouTube and rate it!!!

Great stuff Calijoefornia keep em comin'
I do have to say When it comes to Adam Schein, even though he said some very harsh things about Denver at least he was man enough to say he was wrong and that he was an “idiot” or something like that in an article he wrote this week. Zero chance that Dukes ever does that. Funny stuff though, I particularly like the buzzer!!!

That was great big fella
Would have liked to have seen more of that round table. Where’d you get that one from?
Amazing the conviction some of these guys have in their opinion and I know it’s been said ad nauseum on this site but I’m just amazed at how “Denver will be a bad team so the draft pick will be top-ten” became like some kind of paradigm.
Where’s you hear about Stink seeing the vid?

the round table was from NFL.com
it was filmed back in April I believe. It was a great round table too. Deion made sense of a lot of things.

Thanks CJF
Man…Wish I could find it… sounds like a good one. Last night I did some searches and just spent 15mins scrolling through NFL.com. No luck.
Oh well. Good job man. I enjoy your clips.
Must admit sometimes I think it may be a bit petty to go back like this and gloat but the venom these guys hit the Broncos and their fans with this off-season was uncalled for and deserves to be called out like you’re doing. Good stuff man. Really.

About Stink hearing/seeing the video:
go to wednesday’s show and listen at 48:10. They played it for him and he backpedals like no one’s business.

Would love to listen but
since there’s no “wednesday’s show” link to click on you might have to provide slightly more detailed instructions for us technologically paleolithic types. How do I get to Wednesday’s show? Loved the Shein clip, by the way. Great stuff.

sorry about that...
in the video player on the top-middle of the page, click the “on demand” button and then watch the Wednesday show from there.

"To be fair no one could see this coming"
They let him off the hook with that one. Suppose in the name of friendly banter they can’t take him to task too hard over his tone and attitude. I generally like Schlereth so I don’t mind too much I suppose!

What a tool
So he was talking about last year’s line. Yeah, right. What a bagful of excuses. “How could I have known?” Obviously, he couldn’t have, but he showed no lack of certainty when he prematurely wrote them off. He’s not backpedaling. He’s turning and running as fast as he can from his own words.

All he had to do was look at
our starting line up to know that things were going to be different. I agree Spock he’s a tool.

Sometimes it is just fun to enjoy being right...
I don’t think I’m mean-spirited, nor do I find joy in other people’s misery. But watching this collection of no-talent-ass-clowns expose themselves is so entertaining.
I never laughed at the kid in elementary school who peed his pants, or felt vindicated when my ex girlfriend caught a STD from the guy she dumped me for, and I felt bad for an inebriated Joe Namath when he told Suzy he wanted to kiss her on national tv.
But I just can’t get enough of this stuff. I watch them over and over, gleaning a little more satisfaction out of each viewing. I really hope you put together some more of these. Nice job Cali.

Calijoefornia, on the next one...
maybe include the clip from the NFLN and Marshall says that Orton is a good quarterback and Jamie Dukes says something like, “let me write that down…Kyle Orton, good quarterback”. It would be appropriate especially since Orton just won AFC offensive player of the week award!! Just a suggestion.

Wow. Schein was just a name to me before, but now...
He’s got a face and a voice. And it’s physically impossible to look and sound any more annoying than he is. Seriously: I would spend more time with one of those 30s gangster girlfriends than Stink.
And is it just me, or do his speech patterns, the cadence, the mouth movements, the hand gestures, the swaying body, the awkward emphasizing of words… ALL REMIND YOU OF SOMEONE WHO IS DRUNK?

That is the Fox effect, unfortunately.
They seem to go out of their way to pick up “lesser-thans” like that and spew their putrid vile to those who suck it up with a jumbo-sized straw.
by Mhantra on Oct 17, 2009 9:27 AM MDT up reply actions 0 recs
Yep.
Fox has an interesting model for picking up analysts. They have to be washed up, first and foremost. If they were players or coaches, they had to have done either/or in the NFC at one point or another.

What you have to remember
is that they are selling words for ratings. I believe it was Walter Cronkite that said “never let the facts get in the way of a good story.” Would you get more ratings by talking about stats and training techniques and team philosophies, or by telling people what they already believe? Confirmation bias is a powerful marketing tool, is it not?

Shannon Sharpe
What bothered me the most about Stink’s Broncos’ defensive line is “garbage” comment is that the negative hyperbole was completely unnecessary. Yes, as a commentator he needs to be objective and lots of people thought the Broncos would be a poor team, but he sounded more like a former Raider with that comment.
Contrast that with TJ and Shannon who truly bleed orange and blue. They can make a critical comment about Denver but it will sound like a critical – but loving – comment about a family member. The thing I love most about Shannon is that even when he had been traded to the Ravens and had scored the winning TD against us not only did he not gloat, I thought a part of him was genuinely sad about the Broncos losing. The man has class – period!

i am totally happy that im
…not an owner who has to pay zillions of dollars to have a team as an investment or a service to the community or trying to beat 31 other owners (are they all guys?) to be the best
…not a manager who has to try and understand the coaches needs and the owners wants and bring the best players in he can and juggle the contracts and the salary cap thingie and the end of the cba stuff
…not a coach who has to bring the 53 together and figure out what they can do and what he can think up and get them to do the kum-by-ah thingie and we-are-the-world stuff and get rid of the cancers and slap the babies and keep helping everyone get better
…not a coordinator who has to think up new ways each week to do what they can do with there guys and know whats important to the other team so you can mess with there heads and find there little secrets and out them and do whatever you want to them
…not a player who has to convince the manager hes the right kind of guy at the right price and the coach that hes a team guy and fits in and the coordinators that he can do what needs to be done on the field and the other guys that you are one of them all the way and then learn everything that needs to be done…for that week…and go win it
…not a former player or coach like everyone else is at mhr who knows whats going on and think about it lots and worry and write totally awesome stuff so that even i can sorta unders
…i can just be me

on Twitter to gently suggest he watch this, and maybe perhaps concede he was a freaking bonehead? Ok, the last thing won’t happen, but still… feel free to politely suggest he watch this video.

Oh and I really love these videos
Pretty much every d-bag out there was taking shots at McDaniels in the off season and it makes the winning so much sweeter.
It is kind of funny that everything that was said about McDaniels should have been said about Raheem Morris.
President of the Don Draper fan club.
by jcd823 on Oct 17, 2009 5:20 PM MDT up reply actions 0 recs
One of the differences is
Morris is doing the best he can with the team he was given, whereas McDaniels was extremely decisive in knowing who he wanted to get in order to create the team he wanted. Morris is raw and inexperienced (and one-dimensional) in comparison to McDaniels, who already looks like an accomplished veteran coach.

He brought in guys with experience in the type of football the broncos play, physcial guys in the trenches, smart players, and ballhawks.
