"We hear it's going to be difficult for Broncos WR Brandon Stokley, who hasn't caught a pass since Week Two, to get into the receiver rotation with Brandon Marshall, Eddie Royal and Jabar Gaffney ahead of him. He'll play in four-receiver sets but doesn't contribute on special teams, and we're told there's a chance Stokley would be deactivated if a special-teamer were to miss time with an injury."

I will be watching Sunday Ticket...
and feverishly tracking my Fantasy Football players achievments! My poor fantasy team is being vastly outperformed by my real team! I’m only 4-1 and the highest scorer in our dynasty league. ;)
A proud prognostication of 10-6 in 2009!!!

That's a bummer.
My FF team and the broncos are a combined 10-0. I’m on my way to a great season.

Sunday at the post was great this week, not that it is isn’t always great.
I really enjoyed the first two article links. The Malcom Gladwell piece is fantastic (i don’t think I have ever read Gladwell and thought it was bad) and the article about going for it on fourth down was very interesting as was a link in the comments section about a team in Arkansas that doesn’t punt or kick.
Thanks NYC, morning to you.
Nice tidbit about Walker…..glad the is their problem.
Oakland and former Broncos receiver Javon Walker, who has played four snaps this season and is guaranteed another $4.6 million through next season, would be fine with a trade.
2009 NBA Champions L.A Lakers
2009 NBA Finals MVP Kobe Bryant
I'm no Walker fan at all
but he has to be pretty bad for them to not have played him at all given the sorry state of their receivers, esp with Schillens out. He seems healthy and is a veteran, I don’t understand why he hasn’t been active at all. But then again I don’t understand most of what Cable is doing over there. What an incoherent offense that is.

And speakingof which
that OT piece on Cable and Al Davis is spot on. Harsh but spot on

Both starting CBs out for the Titans vs the Pats? Ouch
And with the Pats hungry to prove themselves after losing to the Broncos last week…yeah, Tennessee is toast.
Wish I could watch the Giants Saints game…but I’ve got church and then rehearsal. OH well.

on friday? when they were about to anounce the fedex air player? damie dukes was rooting for KO. and when it was announced that it was peyyton manning he got kinda defensive that KO shoulda won. that he beat brady in stats and thats a hard thing to do. rich eisen said yeah but this is peyton manning. dukes then turned and said great now the bronco fans are gonna think i had something to do with this.
keep it up bronco fans. if dukes is hearing us, everyone else has to be too. he cant be the only one. our voice is finally being heard. great job.
