A totally different team
Think of all the times in the last year or two when we were ahead in the 4th quarter but you just knew that the Broncos were going to lose. Not this year.
I would have been happier if they’d been ahead at the half, but I also wasn’t worried that they couldn’t come back.
They’re not invincible, but its pretty clear that they’re going to play all 60 minutes, and a late deficit doesn’t seem to worry them.
Lots of fun to watch – Go Broncos!

That’s Orton’s TD-INT ratio inside the red zone in his career, according to Trent Dilfer. But nothing is more impressive than the Broncos’ dominance on 3rd downs in the second half of games – especially this game. The only one they got was on an uncatchable ball where the wide receiver actually ran into the defender – but the defense held firm! Simply sensational!
27-12: That’s Orton career record as a starter. Both of his TD’s were in the second half – the defense isn’t the only aspect of the Broncos’ team that adjusts in the second half – I wonder what KO’s stats are by half…?
