Tired of hearing it
I am super tired of hearing about how ugly the Broncos throwback uniforms are. I heard about it at least fifty times during the game tonight.
OK, maybe it wasn't 50 times exactly, but it was still too may times. Who really cares what the uniforms look like? Is that even really important at all? Shouldn't the most important thing be about how the Broncos are playing or something of that nature?
Yes, I agree, brown and yellow are not the best colors together, but the uniforms tonight were not that bad. If I have to hear about the striped socks anymore, I might explode. Fine, you think they suck professional sportscaster, but last time I checked, I wasn't watching Project Runway and you weren't Michael Kors!
Sorry, I just had to vent.

Haha, dang, you’re mad!
They don’t bother me, those goobers are paid to be blowhards… it’s whatever. I really liked the home throwbacks, but the ones tonight were just plain ugy. I know this isn’t what you want to hear, but I am commenting on the jersey’s anyways. The white on the socks clashed with everything else. It was terrible, but I still like it. Throwbacks are the shiz. I also love the numbered helmets, super cool.

Agree on the socks
the away jerseys would have been better with the brown/mustard socks.

I liked them
I didn’t think the uniforms were that bad at all, I agree. I should just stop listening to the commentary, it upsets me.

If you live in Denver
I always muted the TV and turned on 850 KOA to hear Dave Logan (and if I understand correctly) Eddie Mac!
If I still lived there, I guarantee I would not have heard a single TV announcers’ -what passes for thought, nowadays.
First team to three consecutive SB wins!!!! and then some, right? I think four and we oughtta let someone else have a fair shot : )

But thanks for the suggestion!

Think of it this way...
If our biggest problem is having to hear about how ugly our throwbacks are, then I say, rip away!
WE BE 6 AND OH!!!!!

They are butt ugly and we won't be using them again.
We don’t need no stinking looking uni’s to make this team win. They win because they are ready to win. Burn them things for crying out loud.

Luckily
The Denver Poop and Pees only lasted a year, after which management, with much deliberation, decided to go with Broncos.
Personally I really like the helmets, and the understated look to the jerseys. The socks I could live without, I mean, horizontal stripes at the top would look really cool, but overall I like them for the fact that it is something I have never seen before.

Gaffney looked awesome with the twists in his socks though

For sure
Adding his own “twist”
Terrible pun there, but his definitely had a little extra flair.

But ya gotta love what Eddie pointed out about 'em
The beautiful thing about them, is this year’s team is 2-0 in those ugly throwbacks!

I hate 'em, and I'm glad we get our regular ones back.
But if I were an announcer, I’d mention it once then let it go.
I’m more annoyed that after River’s first TD, one of the nuts in the booth says “Rivers is the best QB in the League right now!” What? Orton has a better QB rating, and I have to believe that anyone would take Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, or Tom Brady over Rivers anyday.

Actually, even better.
For our other two “Legacy games”, we’ve opted for the orange alternate jersey.

Also...
…if Rivers is the best QB in the league, he sure didn’t spend much time showing it last night. And where the hell do they come up with this stuff anyway? We all saw the Flacco-Favre and Cutler-Ryan slugfests on Sunday – any one of those guys looked better on a consistent level than Rivers did yesterday.
Rivers is good against us – several seasons worth of painful defeats at his hands says so – but he’s not worth the worship they were trying to pour on him all night.

I happen to think that Rivers is very good.
I don’t think he is the best, but he is a top ten QB easily. But even my father-in-law (not a Broncos game, but he has the nice TV) thought the announcers were gushing at Rivers and the Chargers a bit much. The remark about Rivers annoyed me, but it was minor in the grand scheme.
ESPN showed Denver some love too, especially as the game went on. And the current MNF crew is much, MUCH better than last year’s. Hats off to ESPN for the three current guys, and not the garbage from last year. I also appreciated the lack of fluff, and the lack of celebrity interviews (which have nothing to do with football).
Let’s give some credit where credit is due. On the whole, ESPN did a good job with the game, and fixed the glaring problems from last year.

damn why do I keep having to disagree with you lately?? =)
I hated the commentary — it seemed like every player on the chargers was going to break out and was the best person to ever play his position EVER. Since when is Renaldo Fields our NT?
How is our offensive line the most experienced line ever when we have three guys with 2-3 years experience? If he had phrased it differently he might have been able to get away with it to me, but he seemed to be implying they had all played with each for a decade.
They annoyed me, sorry =)
A truth can only be expressed and enveloped in words if it is one-sided. Everything that is thought and expressed in words is one-sided, only half the truth; it all lacks totality, completeness, unity.

The only problem I had with the commentary
was Tirico constantly saying Dumbervil instead of DOOMervil.
Fran Charles and his side-kick on NFLN after the game did the same thing.

I will be getting one of those throwbacks...
but lets hope it will be another 50 years before they play in them again.

You guys are crazy, these dark chocolate helmets with just the white numbers are freaking awesome
and the jerseys and the pants are cool too. It’s only the socks that need to go.

I liked the helmets too, especially having the numbers on there.
But still, my favorite are the new Orange with the regular cyber-Horse.
But I might have to pick up some vert. socks to wear when I play Ultimate Frisbee!
