Broncos work out Punter Mitch Berger
Football Outsiders ranks the Broncos punting game last in the league. The only team even close to as bad as Denver is Carolina.
Hence the Broncos are presumably looking at Mitch Berger as a possible replacement for Kern.

We're not where we should be at punter
I’m slow to give up on players as long as they show enough potential (and realize that potential to a degree), but it’s not a sentimental business. We have to consider some changes in this team, and I don’t advocate whole-scale changes (of course) but there are some problem areas that could/should be addressed.
We can’t be afraid of a little self-examination, with and eye towards how we can improve.
A doctrine insulates the devout not only against the realities around them but also against their own selves. The fanatical believer is not conscious of his envy, malice, pettiness and dishonesty. There is a wall of words between his consciousness and his real self.
