Time to talk about all the late action in the NFL. I'm sure many of you will be keeping your eyes on Jay Cutler and the Bears at Cincinnati. I'll be peeking in at the Jets/Raiders game as well....

Bears-Bengals
Cutler…2 picks, 2 TDs…close game…shootout…
Crossing my fingers because I have Palmer on a fantasy team.
Me too!
Palmer is one of my two QBs on my non-MHR fantasy team. Go Carson!
Too bad my only TV game here right now is the Bills Panthers (bleh) because Niners were on earlier and Raiders were blacked out this afternoon. Hah.
Blah.

Eek. Is this true?
Bad news for the Jets

Wow
The Bengals are just tearing into the Bears. I think they are a little angry about losing last week, and I’m not sure what’s wrong with the Bears.

3 turnovers for Jabba the Russell
2 interceptions and a fumble. Wow. Can someone explain why they continue to throw him out there, when they at least have backups who could ball control it better while JMR either learns or they give up on him…? It seems to have worked for the Niners with Alex Smith. JMR is just a turnover machine.
The commenter formerly known as "Dashiell".
But he's under pressure to perform now
So he’ll be slinging to the other team.

cutler looked like orton on that one.

now you can see why for Orton
some things are hard to unlearn…like happy feet to turtling 101 – the Bears don’t look good on O or on D….lots of pressure on Cutler this week too after that new contract.
hope he protects the ball.
no doubt.
wonder if he’ll get a bit more conservative? like he was pressin to impress and drive his contract up?

The bears defense is complete garbage
already down 14 points, does cutler have what it takes to bring them back? Probably not
by lolcopter on Oct 25, 2009 2:52 PM MDT via mobile reply actions
He has what it takes to
drive them back down to the red zone before throwing interceptions if that’s what you mean.
The commenter formerly known as "Dashiell".
The players did not change all that much from last year
So maybe Orton is a much better defensive player then Cutler.

JMR update from Adam Schefter on twitter
JaMarcus Russell…has been benched. Bruce Gradkowski in.
Finally Raiders get a clue, but only out of desperation after a most pathetic display. Gradkowski’s no savior but at least he won’t turn it over 4 times. (Well, maybe…)
The commenter formerly known as "Dashiell".
I don't think Russel is really benched. He's taking a dinner break. It could be a while..........

Missed on the Vikes/Pittsburg..hit on Dallas and Cinci
Ya have to wonder if Cutler has any doubts about leaving Denver. It ain’t even cold yet. He’ll miss that Denver O-line even more in December.
All that cutler cares about is his money. If he gets hit, he'll just think of his piles of money that he's making
and he’ll feel better.

for yet another post-game performance that isn’t going to do anything for Cutler’s reputation as an adult.
oh and from the ESPN North blog thingamajig
I’m not sure what to be more alarmed about. Should it be the rare collapse of the Bears’ run defense? The total subversion of their own pass defense, which gave up five touchdown passes? Or another unsettling performance from quarterback Jay Cutler, who threw three interceptions and again had trouble containing his emotions on the field.
(Throwing your hands in the air after an interception, as Cutler did on the ball that sailed over tight end Greg Olsen’s head, suggests you think the receiver didn’t run that right route. Poor form.)
i know i shouldn’t take as much pleasure as i do in this, but after signing a new contract that puts you in the top 5 for $ at the QB position, aren’t you supposed to come out and do better than 3 interceptions instead of presiding over an utter humiliation ?
