After setting the game plan last week, the team began installing it yesterday (two days earlier than normal) thanks to the bye week. Brian Dawkins and Le Kevin Smith did not practice.

DPP - Q&A: Broncos have key contracts expiring - Jeff Legwold
"I'm not sure where the Broncos would fit on that if there was no maximum or minimum, but they are not one of the cash-rich organizations, in terms of ability to pay up-front bonus money, in the league at the moment. But I would think they would like to figure out how to address Dumervil in some fashion, as well as Marshall. I believe those two would be ahead of Orton in that respect, but I'm sure they would look at him as well if he continues to produce."

Thanks as always!

I know it’s too early to talk about Pittsburgh but this article on NFP caught my eye:

Steelers safety unsure if he can play in Denver.

Maybe some of you remember this story from years ago, but I thought it was interesting, I never heard it before.

Very interesting, and what a terrible story for Clark. Legwold actually covered this in yesterday’s DP.

He might

check into some research done using hyperbaric oxygen therapy to reverse the acute phase. Might save an organ or two. Some conspiracy theorist feel is was a racial choice to not pursue this further.

Horse Tracks is amazing

I can’t imagine how much time it takes to gather those articles. It makes my morning news so easy — thanks a ton!

Love this comment form Czarnecki at Fox in reference to Chicago.

and their so-so play this year. “Apparently, there is more to this game than having a quarterback with a great arm. Go figure!”

Remember SI picked them to go to the SuperBowl.

Thanks for all the links NYC.

We should resign Chad Mustard now that we have a Berger.

Unfortunately it is highly unlikely

That Berger would ever have to tackle Roethlisberger. That’d be something….
