Chiefs to release Larry Johnson

Not really a surprise given the loggerheads at which the parties found themselves after two years of malcontent behavior and the recent controversial tweets from LJ. But I'm breathing a sigh of relief that this man was never able to become one of the all time greats that he was projecting to be during his breakout season. The writing has been on the wall for this move since KC lost their stellar O line -- let's extend a hearty Mile High Salute to Chiefs for taking so long to end this tempestuous distraction! YEE HAW!
