It looks like Jerome Bettis is the first MSM knucklehead to give a full and sincere apology to McDaniels for the treatment he has received since his hiring. He actually admitted he, and lumped in the rest of them too, were wrong for jumping to conclusions and were clueless about what was really going on with the team.
Here is the link, I will also quote what he said after the link....

Errr, I was going to copy-paste the excerpt from the article, but it will not allow me to make that happen. Also, my letters have gotten bigger and my font has changed for no apparent reason.
Also, Peter King is (finally) showing us some love as well, here is the link to thatone....http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/peter_king/10/06/mail/index.html?eref=sihp
And once again the formatting is getting ridiculous here... I give up. King thinks we will go 2-2 over the upcoming 4 games, and end with a 6-2 record. Pretty good vote of confidence from the "king knucklehead", maybe that's not such a good thing though... And, oh yes, he has McD as coach of the year through the first quarter, and Dumervil second in Defensive player of the year to Darrele Revis. And Mike Nolan 1st in the Assistant Coach of the Year.
