CUTLER, CUTLER, GO AWAY!
I have been a bronco fan since the Craig Morton days, and still am, though now living in Bolt country. I have been as bothered as anyone else since the Cutler trade, and can understand the unabated Cutler-watch by Bronco fan. No matter how much I try, the curiosity to compare the success/failur of cutler and Orton does not go away, and perhaps will not go away at least during this season. The fact is, no matter how much any Bronco may want to deny it, Cutler is a terrific talent and is a treat to watch. I do miss him. Having said that, Orton is growing on me and I truly believe that Orton fits the scheme of things with the prsent day Broncos like Cutler would never have. Cut ler is a terrific talent, but not much of a team player. Orton is talented enough to succeed as an NFL QB, but beyond that he is a consummate team player. And what we have now in Denver is a TEAM. TYhe success of the Broncos this season is due to the fact that they are playing as a TEAM. much as it was fun watching Cutler complete those down-the-field passes, it is a lot more fun seen these Broncos WIN football games with team-play and making monkeys out of the media pundits.
I can now see why McDaniels would prefer a Cassel or an Orton over a Cutler. McDaniels has molded a TEAM, and he needs players who will execute game plans as members of the TEAM. I can see now, and I believe most people will agree, that Cutler never would have fit in as a member of thie TEAM concept.
So, with all due respects to everyonr in Broncoland, let us forget about any animosity towards Cutler. Let us wish both Orton and Cutler success this year and throughout their careers. Let us enjoy the play of both. Of course, when the Broncos play the Bears in the Superbowl, it will be always GO BRONCOS!

well
It’s not going to stop until next year since we have their pick. So until then we should all just ignore anything on cutler.

As long as Chicago's...
round one pick belongs to Denver, I want Cutler, and the entire bears squad, to tank.
Throw another INT, JC!

And once we use that pick
then I won’t care one bit what he does.
Go whoever plays the Bears.

hey PAI...
does that rhyme with Day or Die??? Just wondering… anyway welcome to MHR and it’s good to see that you want to contribute!!! That is what I think makes this site special but I am thinking that you might want to read something that was posted a while back on MHR and it really only regurgitates what has been said in oh so many ways much more eloquent than this but it might give you a heads-up for your next post…

Still
wish we had Cutler instead of Orton. Cutler had a good interview on Inside the NFL tonight and said he talks weekly to some of his former Bronco teammates. I still like Cutler and I think he will have a Hall of Fame career in Chicago. Cutler has cut down on interceptions since the Packer game and has made several plays that only he and a few other elite qb’s can make. Orton has been a good game manager but I can’t help but think how great this offense would be with Cutler instead of Orton. Still disgusted that McDaniels’s wanted to trade Cutler for Cassel which caused Culter to dig his heels in and force a trade. I hope we can somehow get another qb with Cutler’s talent in the next few years.

That Infuriates Me
Why do people repeat the BIG LIE that McD WANTED to trade Cutler for Cassel? It is perfectly alright that you miss Cutler. But this utter and complete material misstatement of fact is infuriating.

A Little Light Reading Courtesy of Colinski
No, Cook did, and ESPN happily jumped aboard
And Colinski is just one poster here. He has other posts you should read. Other posters have covered this ad nauseum.
Check the FACTS before you post such drivel.

I don’t even know what to say. Orton made some pretty good throws last Sunday. As a Bronco fan “broncorob”, you have seen the highlights, right?

Cutler, Cutler, Cutler!
Nothing positive to comment regarding any of the other major changes for your Broncos? New HC, DC, crazy good defense, awesome team coming together… Just Cutler?
Sorry, but your comment lacks substance and credibility.

I can NOT see why McDaniels would want Cassel. Right now, I know most KC fans are not too excited that their GM wanted (and PAID) Cassel.
Cassel is an absolute fraud as a franchise QB and I think our lucky stars he is not murdering our salary cap in Denver.
McDaniels certainly (per his own words) contemplated and vetted the idea of bringing Cassel to Denver. Fortunately, another foolish team pulled that trigger and blew off their own foot.
Love the Broncos. Mike Nolan is a genius.

Absolutely
McD did contemplate bringing Cassel to Denver. He took a phone call. He then told Cutler he took the phone call. He did NOT try to trade. Cutler was not traded until he acted the fool and did not return Bowlen’s phone calls. Bowlen made the trade, not McD. And, like you McG, I’m glad he did not pursue it.

I wonder if PAI and Geosmak... er I mean eomak.... er I mean geomak are one and the same?
How in God’s green earth can such a mundane, yester-year post like this evoke so many post’s???? Shame on you endzone!!! can we just end this and go over to a real blog, like HT’s or BB’s and begin some REAL and truly stimulating debate about TODAYS issues?
OMG
(that last part was tongue in cheek)
Seriously can we just move on???????????????????????????????????????????????????????

cutler can pee up a rope for all I care, but one thing.
If he pulls that hurling trick against Jared Allen he may never walk again. Good luck jay in all your endeavours when you play against the Vikes. That’s all I have to say about that.
