Josh McDaniels is intense. Here is some great insight into just how intense McD gets on game day. Check...It....Out!

People talk about the locker room, and winning over players....

You know how that happens? When a guy like Brian Dawkins, who has done just about everything in this League, responds to McDaniels at the end of the game with ‘Yes sir, yes sir". If McDaniels is good enough for Dawkins, he’s good enough for the other 52 men in that locker room….

Thanks

Would of been cool to have somethin of mine on the front page, but I’m just glad you guys liked it as much as I did. I just REALLY like McDaniels. I think he not only has “it”, I think he defines “it”. What a great find by Bowlen.

Another great find that will probably be mentioned in Horse Tracks tomorrow

is this NFLN clip that dissects the B Marsh play at the end of the Dallas game… You guys GOTTA SEE THIS.

I don't get it...

How could anyone hate that guy? His love of football is obvious, and you can tell he truly knows what he’s talking about. And from every quote I have ever heard/read, the players love the guy. I’m sorry, but when Champ “HOF” Bailey makes two game saving plays and then immediately goes up to his coach, gives him a hug and says, “I got it for ya,” that says something.

by ZTC_87 on Oct 7, 2009 11:00 PM MDT reply actions

Everything that needs to be said

is being said by the actions and words of the players. Any McD haters that still remain are just being stubborn or really projecting their own issues onto this great coach…which is a shame, because they are truly missing out on seeing something special happening with our team.

Gotta love it

A coach who knows what he’s doing, has a great passion for the game, and garners that much respect from his players. I liked the McD hiring from Day 1, but I definitely didn’t expect to like him personally as much as I do.

Oh man

watching that gave me the chills…I can’t stop smiling. What an awesome video. I just wanna play some ball.

Now that is intense and I LOVE IT.

If you needed to win someone over on McD as a HC then this is the video to show them. I loved hiring McDaniels from the start because I just knew he would bring a lot of the knowledge he used in NE over to Denver.

John that part at the end with Dawkins was priceless. I heard a lot of MSM guys giving it ot McD by saying that Belichick’s players love him while the whole Culter/Marshall stuff was going on. This just shows you that McD’s players love him too.

Oh, and the “I know this is America’s team but this is rediculous” comment was too funny.

Loved every single second of it...

teh yelling at the refs, had such a laugh! great!

But like Guru said… that moment with Dawkins was the best part of the whole video and said a whole lot!

Thanks for the link!

I sure am gonna love this guy as Our head coach!

That “hurtin’ ourselves” speech he was givin’ the guys – mid-game, on the sideline – was classic.

I know a few (sheltered) Bronco fans who need to see this! And will, thanks again!

First team to three consecutive SB wins!!!! and then some, right? I think four and we oughtta let someone else have a fair shot : )

Great Vid

Best one I have seen yet on MHR. I LOVED the way McDaniels carried himself. There is nothing more important in coaching that enthusiasm. You can call bad plays all day but if you are there when your players get back encouraging them and motivating them, it doesn’t matter. Thankfully we have the best of both worlds though. Can’t tell you how pleased I am with McDaniels so far.

by GoldenNugget on Oct 7, 2009 11:45 PM MDT reply actions

McDaniels.

I’ve been on his side this whole time, giving him the benefit of the doubt until we saw the product on the field and now I absolutely love the hire. Look at the interactions with Champ and Dawkins, two future Hall of Famers, and there’s really nothing more you need to know. Ladies and Gentlemen, we have ourselves a winner. Go Broncos!

Intensity is the word of the day

I would have loved to heard what he told Orton after the throw to Moreno, nice job getting the right coach Mr. Bowlen

by hrlybuzz on Oct 8, 2009 8:53 AM MDT reply actions

The sideline speech was great...

it really shows how much room for growth this team has. From wha I can gather, this offense is probably running on about 30-40% of its potential. Everyone is still learning and making mistakes. It will be that way all year, but it should be much better down the stretch.

by ButteBronco on Oct 8, 2009 9:28 AM MDT reply actions

I really liked

McD talking to Orton through the mic…"No, it’s not about “my bad” now, just go out and do it" or something to that effect.

Great find!

I just watched this

for about the 20th time. I smell an NFL film story narrated by Steve Sabol.

I admit it

I originally wanted Schwartz, but given Bowlen loves a great offensive mind, I had a feeling he’d hire McD. I love Bowlen – I think he’s a class act and obviously a great business mind as well. Great, great Hire! GO BRONCOS!!

BTW – I am now so sure I’m liking all of this love from the MSM all of a suddend. I kind of liked being under the radar! Oh well! Well deserved!

All time fav

Man, that video says it all about McD. Here’s another little nugget in there….at the end, amidst all the celebration on the sideline, he’s got the presence to give Kyle the formation (or play call) and “take a knee”. This guy has his head on right.
