Around SBN: NHL Trade Rumors: Do You Make A Move For Rick Nash?

Knowshon Moreno was named the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week for his performance Sunday in Denver's 17-10 victory over the visiting Cowboys. Moreno had 14 carries for 65 yards, along with 2 receptions for 11 yards, including a 9-yard TD catch. Although Knowshon lost a fumble, he did also have a key block on Kyle Orton's 51-yard game-winning TD pass to Brandon Marshall.

a great contributor!

When you win

your players get recognition. That’s always the way it’s been. Somehow I suspect he’s proudest of that block. That means he made a key contribution to both TDs.

I could see

two rushing TDs in this game for him. He is one tough runner..

College and Preseason

Congrats Knowshon. I was psyched when we drafted him and his few carries in preseason. My faith in him is steadily being proven in his play. This type of award is nice. I hope he gets it every week! He entered the season as the oddsmakers favorite to win ROY. I think he is just behind Sanchez now.

Congratulations for Knoshizzle, love this kid.

Lady, you want me to answer you if this old airplane is safe to fly? Just how in the world do you think it got to be this old?

I love this kid!

I think he will be getting this award pretty often.

"Really, I'm a high-motor guy. Tough, hard-nosed, a hard runner, can make you miss at times. And just competitive. I love to play the game and I bring that energy to my team. So, we'll see how that goes." - Knowshon Moreno

Nice

I hope this is just the first of many accolades in a long career here in Denver.

The coolest thing about this..

To me, at least, is that his college teammate Mohamed Massaquoi got 2nd place.

People wonder why Georgia is struggling on offense this year, just look in Denver, Detroit, and Cleveland.
