WOW, embarrassing

I'm going to be brutally honest and call it as I saw it. We were outplayed in every aspect of the game. Ben Hamilton what happened to you today? You were dominated all game long. Special Teams what happened to you today? Eddie had absolutley no where to go today, I had to wonder if anyone was blocking at all. Ravens running free everywhere. Josh, did you seriously cut Kern for this guy? That had to be the worst (so called) punting I've ever seen. Honestly, I could punt better than that. Was anyone covering Washington all day, just wondering? It sure didnt seem like it. For that matter was anyone covering Mason all day. I can't believe our defensive backfield was scorched by that set of recievers. The most embarrissing thing of all was our defense quit in the end. Maybe it was just me but it sure seemed like it. They knocked us down the field like they were playing 5th graders the last drive of the game. Missed tackles, I saw more today than all year. Josh, you've got a lot of work to do with this offense. With as much talent as this offense has I thought it was impossible to look that bad. We looked awful. I'm a little emotional right now so this may be a little harsh but i dont care. Sorry I'm not a college graduate like half the people on this sight so it's probably not written the best i'm sure you get my point. We better get a lot acomplished this week or pittsburghs going to do the exact same thing to us next week.

Total Vent

I’m sorry but it sure made me feel better. My wife had to go to target I was in such a bad mood.

You vented ...but c'mon and give the Ravens credit

You write as if this has been going on all year and that it has happened over and over again. I would not consider this game embarrassing. I consider it a hard fought football game. Disappointed that the Broncos did not win? Yes! However, the Ravens played an excellent game and, today, the better game. The Bronco defense certainly did not roll over and play dead. There were an awful lot of negative plays for the Ravens. What did we have – 1 turnover and I am not sure too many players could have held on to the ball after the hit that Knowshon took. The offense sputtered but they were not the only team on the field. Have you happened to notice that nearly every team in the league has games like this? Give the Ravens their due and acknowledge their effort. (P.S. – I am not a Ravens fan who logged on to comment – I am a Broncos fan since the striped socks days.)

Ya

But I didnt think I needed to praise the ravens for playing a better game I thought the outcome spoke for it self. Im dissapointed we didnt make it a little more competitive.

Agreed - look at the final score of the Giants game today

Not to mention the Eagles last week got their you know what handed to them by the Raiders of all teams, and then came out this week and kicked butt. It happens every year to nearly every team at least once, it’s what makes the NFL great unlike MLB where the team with the most money always seems to win, any given week most teams have a chance to win no matter how bad they are.

good vent

I must say that the D played well, you just cannot constantly go and go for the whole game. Gotta have the O help. The O helps with field position. Again, every thing is getting back to ST play

I don't care if you quit school in the seventh grade,

there isn’t anybody on this site who feels they are better than anybody else. I don’t have an engineering degree and I’m to old to start studying now. So, if anyone on here tells you you can’t say something because your not literate enough or what, tell to kiss your butt.

Oh, and btw, we have areas to work on for sure and you can bet your sweet bippy that McDaniels will be on it. The Steelers coming to town next MNF and we will have our hands full trying to out scheme them. They are very tough and physical.

We got out schemed and out played today and took one on the chin, how will we get up from the canvas (turf) will define what this team is all about. Look for a good game next Monday at home.

Huh??? Little bit confused here

I’ve read your post 3 times and I can’t figure out what set off the outburst in the first paragraph. I haven’t seen anyone post anything like what you are describing … guess I missed it.

Just making a point that I don't need or anyone else on here need a grammarian to say you can't spell!

It has happened on here and there are people on here who think they are somebody. We aren’t all rocket scientists and don’t really care about grammar or spelling, that’s the point I was making. It has happened and it usually comes from some newcomer who has all of the answers but has none. Good job johnny.

Keep the chin up

Come on guys, we will be back, just worry about the Chargers, as long as we win the division we always have a chance in the playoffs, we cant win em all.

I need to remember to only show up here after wins.

Otherwise, all the whiplash is going to kill me.

by JeffG on Nov 1, 2009 4:40 PM MST reply actions   0 recs

sorry

If I caused you whiplash Jeff G. Like I said in the 1st sentence just called it as I saw it. A little criticism never hurt anybody.

Guess you get embarrassed easier than I do.

That game was close until the 4th quarter, and if Reed gets called for interference on the third down throw to Royal, the final score may have looked a lot different.

It's perfectly alright to vent johnny

You can do that here. I think it is part of being a fan. You care, so you get emotional. Don’t give up though. Still a long season. =)
