Bears Remaining Schedule re Where are we to draft?
Unless the Bears get their act together quickly, they are looking to be 8-8 at best. More than likely they will end up 7-9 or 6-10. This should net us a top 10 pick. Thank goodness Coach McD had confidence in his abilities and team.

I know anything can happen… but I see 5 losses in there… if they play well they should beat St. Louis and Detroit, giving them 6 wins for the season… I guess GB is a possibility, but the way they are playing, I don’t see it.
Is a 6 or 7 win season usually good for a top 10?
Top 10
The bills were 7-9 last year and drafted 11. However, since the bears are playing an easy schedule, they are likely to draft higher than other 7-9 teams with tougher schedules.

BOLD,BOLD,BOLD
The trade was bold, made by our bold young coach. According to msm that move was the cherry on top of what was supposed to be our disasterous season. After all we were going to be 3-13 and we traded that top 5 pick to seattle. What the hell is this young coach thinking? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.I have to admit, the fact that the bears stink and that J.C. is struggling just tickles me pink. Another thing i must admit is that after Jay has games like last night I stroll on over to the Bears web sight. I never post, just read( the curiosity gets the best of me). Last night was pure entertainment. I’ve never read so many f bombs being dropped on a thread in my life. HAHAHAHAHA. Go BRONCOS!
who, not where
The Bears are in a tie with SF @ 13th-14th (worst) right now and their closing schedule is daunting, so the real question is whether there’s a prospect that we covet who will be available around that range. I honestly can’t say that there is.
Considering the depth of this draft, it may make sense to trade our 1st round pick. The 2nd round looks deep, and it would be advantageous if we could trade our 1st for picks in the 2nd round.
At this point, it appears that we’re in the enviable position of having a draft that suits our needs (strong in DE34 types). Moreover, our situation is also fluid enough to be able to take the BPA without regret over failing to address a need.
It’s going to be interesting to see whether a new CBA is agreed upon. The prospect of a rookie salary cap could produce a flood of underclassmen come January 15, and this is another reason that having more 2nd round picks could be preferable to having a high-ish 1st round pick.

How about 4-12? You think it's not possible?
Oh it’s possible. Watch out for Detroit at the end of the year. They will be a much better team. They have already taken small steps.
