OMG Be careful what you wish for!!!
When your wrong my momma always said you should accept it and apologize!!!!!! I was wrong to even ever bring up the idea of replacing Orton with Simms and I am sooooooooooooooo sorrrrrrrry... Ok to be fair in my post last week I was not asking for Simms to replace Orton I was just saying that once the game seems out of reach give Simms a chance... I will never, never, never do that again!!! Ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!! the thing is in the poll on that post most of you (3-1) thought that Orton should stay in there and man did the first half ever prove that if there ever were doubters bout this guy they (and I) WERE wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chris in all fairness is a good back-up for now and given enough time I am sure that he could be good ... really good cuz the dude has an arm and he is mobile but to see him struggle like he did told me that Orton is EXTRA-ORTONAIRY if he has been able to do the things he has done with the same tools Chris had and still win games... so here is to hoping KO get's healthy and is ready for Charger week!!!

Nice LWTG
Thanks for the shout out,
KO was on fire yesterday……Simms not so much.
We needed to keep running the ball and our D was bad and special teams were short bus special….
Very embarrassing and season shaping loss unfortunately!
Those that cant coach, compete!
Failing to plan is planning to fail.
All I want is 53 Rod Smiths. Is that asking too much????

My favorite part about orton...
Was that he NEVER removed his helmet for the rest of the game. He knew he wasn’t going to play anymore, but stay “in the game” with the rest of his teammates.

Helmet Radio
QB’s have radios in their helmets. Keeping his helmet on allowed him to track the plays. I agree. Orton stayed in the game even if he could not play.

Think Simms is better than he played against Washington
but this game proved why McDaniels chose Orton early on. I hope that ankle heals fast. If Orton is infact unable to play against the Chargers, I can only hope that Simms will get better practicing with the 1st string squad this week. McDaniels may tweak his playbook too, according to the skills Simms has. Personally, I’m cheering for both of them. I hope Orton heals quickly and completely, and I also hope that Simms can step it up this next week and show us that the Washington game was a fluke.

I hope the prognosis is good. Anybody know when we will find out how that ankle is??
If Taylor Swift were to try and tackle me, I'd let her.

I think maybe
Josh got a little emotionally charged, and slipped on his play calling with Simms. I’m sure you felt the same way about our QB situation LWTG. It happens. That was last week, now it’s time to prep for the Bolts.

agreed, Kap.
also, i’ve never been a simms fan and never liked bringing him here in the first place, but that said, i actually think he’ll do fine if he has to go on sunday. he’ll have a lot more prep time this week—physically and mentally. he’s a lot better QB than he showed yesterday anyway.
