Broncos Offense Carries The Day: Broncos 34 - Chargettes 13
The sleeping lion (or horse in our case) wakes up this Sunday. Orton will play, Marshall will excel, Moreno will have a great game, Eddie Royal breaks another TD but this one is through the air not on ST's AND I predict that Hillis gets his second rushing TD of the year. Now that the Chargers are (allegedly) our number one rival; the stage is set. This Sunday we avenge the 2008 year end slide once and for all and do it at home where Buffalo beat us less than a year ago.
Orton was on the sideline with his helmet on at the start of the 3rd Q last week. I think he would have played then and I think he'll be ready Sunday. It's just a hunch, but I think JM took advantage of what he thought would be an easier half of football in DC to rest Orton and the outcome got away from him.
Marshall is ready for a break out day and the O line is overdue for a solid day of pass protection. Our receiving corps in general have been too quiet and the gameplanning will feature a lot of spreads with 3 and 4 WR's giving a lot of room on the inside for Moreno (who has 4.1 YPC at home) and plenty of underneath stuff for Scheffler and Graham.
It will be 17-7 late in the 2nd Q and Denver will have the ball in the Red Zone with less than 2:00 left. Hillis will get the ball out of the "Wild Horse" and throw incomplete to a slanting Royal. On 3rd and goal he will get the same call and run it in opposite of the 2 Wideouts; 24-7 at the half.
San Diego has been defensive scheming all week against a pocket target (Orton or Simms) so I expect to see a fair amount of plays designed to confuse the pocket blitz packages especially around the middle of the field (between the 40's). Look for Denver to have at least one non-quarterback throw in the first half.
The schemes will be different than any San Diego has seen and at least once during the afternoon you will hear "The Charger secondary is not in synch".
We win the T.O.P. by 36 to 24 minutes. And...the defense finds its stride again getting fired up by the offense scoring 24 points in the first half.
This is an offense with loads of talent and we've been very quiet...too quiet all year. It's time to head down the home stretch with all 3 units firing. We will be well coached and we will execute this Sunday.
San Diego adds two field goals in the 3rd Q and Denver gets 10 in the 4th...final 34-13.
Watch and see.

34 points with Simms as our QB?
Is Eddie Royal going to take back 3 kick/punt returns for TDs?

That's true
I don’t feel we’ve seen enough of him. I hope I don’t see 20k chargers fans at this game

I couldn't agree more.
Nothing would frustrate me more than to see those powder blue jerseys in the stands.
If Taylor Swift were to try and tackle me, I'd let her.

Do you really believe this?
I’d share your enthusiasm if I hadn’t seen how we played the last three weeks. What in the play of Simms would make you think we will win. The only positive is we are uniformly picked to lose this one. I like that role better

Optimism is low risk!!!!
I honestly believe that the game planning and scheming has shifted over the last 3 weeks to feature and “hone” parts of the game that were weak. This week I really believe we will see the team we saw in weeks 1-6

If Simms starts
We will probably see more roll outs. He is a little more mobile than Kyle.
