$5,000 for the Ayers facemask… I’d say Robert got off kind of lucky there. Maybe the NFL took it easy on the fines since they felt bad about the terrible officiating that clearly benefitted the Redskins. Especially the Jason Campbell fumble that wasn’t.

If Moreno has another big game tomorrow, I think we win. McDaniels really needs to exercise more patience with the run game. Our D has been on the field far too much this season and it’s time for the offense to do their part.

This is my favorite website.

the bright side

I’m hoping that if Simms starts, McD will have to call more runs, with Hillis actually getting carries.

Prety heavy price for losing division

I’d rather we win the game, even if Hillis does not even dress. Don’t get me wrong, I love Redneck, but I’m Broncos fan first

Don't misunderstand

I don’t wish Simms to start. I’m just looking for the bright side IF he does (which it looks like that is the case).

What about Harrison?

Did he get fined for the helmet-to-helmet hit on Buckhalter at the end of the Steeler game? I never heard anything about a fine, but I thought it was pretty blatant.

Wood Yard

I’m pretty sure that’s how Wesley pronounces it. At least I remember hearing that somewhere.

Thanks for all your hard work, Doug. I can’t start my day without Tracks.

Crazy thought. I posted same thought on Denver Post so its not coppied lol

On a different note:

What do you think the chances are that when Charlie Weiss gets fired from Notre Dame McDaniels gives him a call to help run the offense?

I am not saying in any way I want this it just crossed my mind when they were talking about Weiss on ESPN. I mean we are getting Patriot players so why not coaches now?haha Hey next thing we get the cheerleaders and the mascot.

THE WHAT IF’S!!!!!!

by MiamiMike1 on Nov 21, 2009 8:04 AM MST reply actions

Not interested, but I could see it

I would guess Weiss goes back to the Pats, similar to how the hoodie went back to work with Parcells after he got ran out of Cleveland

Words of wisdom from SI's Jim Trotter

on twitter:

SI_JimTrotter: Sd wins either way RT @MigraJo If Orton healthy, Broncos win Sun & division. w/o him, Chargrs win fairly easily; Skip bayless says, u agree?

And on AFC Playbook in a minute they’re supposedly going to “show you why the Chargers will be taking over first place tomorrow.”

Honestly, is there any reason to watch the game tomorrow, or even play it, since apparently the Chargers have already won the game…?

Jordan’s out, guess who that means our 3rd string runningback will be? :D

If we end up leading in the 4th it’ll be Hillis plowing through the D-Line to keep the clock moving. This could be the perfect opportunity to show McDanials what he can do.

by chriscalifornia on Nov 21, 2009 11:13 AM MST reply actions

I'd like to see him do so ploughing if we get a lead.

They are a little banged up on defense and it wouldn’t hurt to bang them up a little more, would it?

I should bench

Philip Rivers on my fantasy football team tomorrow. I’m already doing okay. That’ll teach him! Or that’ll teach me. One or the other.

Well Seth Meyers I guess those wins against the Pats, Cowboys and chargers don't count. Huh pretty boy?
It’s that time of year — time for a Denver collapse. SNL Weekend Update’s Seth Meyers would put it thusly: "Denver’s on a three-game skid in mid-November with a rookie coach, an iffy quarterback and a defense that finished 2008 ranked No. 29, and you’re surprised? Really? You know they started this season 3-0 with a miracle win against Cincy and gimmes against Oakland and Cleveland — yet the 0-3 skid shocks you? Reallly?

You do realize that in games played after Nov. 20, Denver has gone 2-4 each of the past three years. (Repeat: Two and four. Past. Three. Years.) And that San Diego is 17-2 cumulatively in the same games. Seventeen and two! And that Kyle Orton is just 9-6 in that timeframe despite having played on playoff-caliber Bears teams. Last year alone the guy threw 10 picks in his last five games. And yet you still like Denver to bounce back? Realllly?!?"

Douche bag.

No-Punting

I saw this article in Time that not punting on 4th and long does not significantly decrease the opponent’s chances of scoring. Other articles at ESPN: blog

Maybe Belichick read this article before his decision in the Colts game?

Either the time of the game has changed tomorrow

or the countdown clock on the MHR home page left sidebar is a few hours off. ;-)

Okay now Jim Trotter really *is* irritating me

Mcdaniels isn’t a bad guy. A little thin-skinned, maybe. But he knows his $hit. RT @agenterock: that pic is why I really dont like that guy!

Where on earth did he get the sense that McD is thin-skinned?? Given all he went through this year… yeah, he’s openly wept after games. Oh wait, that’s someone else.
