While I would not doubt that will be the case
Mortenson has shown himself to be an absolute joke of a journalist, he basically throws out educated guesses as stories, it does not take a great journalist to deduce if the player has not participated in practice all week, he likely won’t start.

he's playing the odds. The announcement doesn't have to be made before 90 minutes from game time.
McD said they were going to walk through with Orton this morning to see if he could go. Nothing etched in iron yet. Just wait and see, just like the dolt bags have to.

Good call on Mortenson being a joke of a journalist. Remember when he said Shanny was the next coach for KC. Way to get that story out 1st Chris.

That sucks. Last week, Simms looked light years away from being a ready to QB an NFL team.
