I don't know if everyone's seen this but with the priveledge of being a part of something special with Brian Dawkins on our team comes the need to find out where he's been and what makes him so special.
This video blew my mind. I'm a big football fan aside from being a Broncos fan but I must've been under a rock the past 14 years because I never truly comprehended the destruction this guy doles out.
Make sure you click 'HD', turn up the volume, blow up to full screen... and sit back and enjoy. I am thankful for Brian Dawkins for everything that he is... the most pure football player in the NFL in decades.

I dont know why the Eagles let him go
He is the heart and soul of our defense and when he retires from playing I hope he becomes one of our coaches . He is special !

Bruton, Barrett and McBath?
What will they bring to the physicality of their position? I believe McDaniels has his safety of the future in one or more of those guys. Whether they will bring the intensity of a Bdawk is yet to be seen and some are clamouring for Taylor Mays to be the next BDawk clone. I don’t know and I guess we will have to wait until April 25th to find out. BDawk reminds me a little of Ronnie Lott who I think was a little better and great to watch.
The safety positon is a very important position that a team needs to run the defensive back field. It is very rare to find an Ed Reed or a Troy Palomalu, those guys are a special breed.

Great wrestling move against a Redskins player. The open field tackles against Sanders in Dawkins rookie year is good too.
Dawkins has always been my favorite player that wasn’t a Bronco, and getting him on our team was beyond a treat. I’ve been watching the game for decades before Dawkins came along, so that says a lot about Dawkins to me.
