Its time to pay the men.
Doom and Marshall need to be resigned. Elvis has deserved a raise since the end of last year, his work ethic and statistics make him the perfect player to lock down. Marshall has proven that he can shake off adversity and play with exceptional skill. Marshalls contract will need an incident clause to avoid off field transgressions, but he is worthy of a multiyear, multimillion dollar contract. Both players will garner strong interest on the free agency market. I think it would be best for us to sign them now and avoid a bidding war.

Agreed
They are both keepers. I can’t remember the last time we had a pass rush like this. B Marsh is one of the best receivers in the league. Pay them.
I agree
They both need to be resigned but with the CBA expiring no one knows what to expect. I sure hope they get them both signed and Orton also
live and die blue and orange
Agreed, but they won't be signed until the offseason.
If Taylor Swift were to try and tackle me, I'd let her.

I agree 100%.
Lock these players up. We don’t want to see talent walking out our door.

Have we the cap room to sign everyone we need to keep?
or is the collapse of the CBA going to mean that isn’t an issue/
Not sure. It's difficult to say at this point because there may even be a player strike, at this point.
Kevin Mawae said that it may come down to that. I sure hope it doesn’t, but it’s a possibility. This whole CBA disagreement is pretty hairy and ugly. I am not sure about the logistics of it all, but someone did a piece about it a few weeks ago. I’ll go find the link for you.

The NFL
This league is WAY too profitable of a business to let a disagreement like this get in the way. This will be resolved, undoubtedly.

That has links to part one and two, as well.

I think we will
We will have money freed up by Dre’ Bly’s contract and a couple other cuts (Travis Henry? not sure). I don’t believe there will be that big of a problem.

I am just going to wait and see what the front office, McD, and Xanders decide to do. If they let any of those players go to FA without making an effort to sign them, I will assume there is a reason. Either they didn’t want to pay what they would require, or they simply didn’t like their play enough to keep them around.
They have worked magic so far in bringing in players at reasonable prices who made significant impact, and letting go of players that weren’t up for the task. I’ll trust their judgement on these matters. That said, I would love to see all these guys come back next year in the orange and blue.
