John and Friends Predict....Week 12 in the NFL

John and various members of the staff here are once again competing in the annual MHR Pick'em challenge. You will notice the Denver Broncos game is not included.  We'll just say everyone roots for the Broncos each week! Guru's wife is a Patriots fan, so her pick will be of the Broncos game.  Just so homerism doesn't affect the outcome again this year.

I predict

the Broncos will beat the crap out of the Giants. That’s my only prediction! ;-)

Okay, i am also betting on the Bucs covering the spread (though losing a close one) and the Ravens over the Ben-less Steelers.

There's no need to fear, Underdog is here! / Broncos fan in Niners/Raiders country, and damned proud of it.

Totally with you on the Broncos. I think they'll come out and make a statement.

I like the Cowboys and Pack too, but beyond that it’s fuzzy this week. ;)

Denver doesn't stand a chance against New York

The Broncos have a historically soft defense. Their D will get gashed right up the middle by one of the better rushing teams in the league. Ever heard of the Giants’ three-headed monster?

And what in the world do they expect to accomplish on offense with a noodle-armed QB, when he’s up against some of the best pass-rushers in the league?

It seems to me like Broncos fans are delusional. If they can’t even beat the Redskins, how do they expect to beat a playoff contender like the Giants?

I was wrong too, but I’m glad I didn’t put in THOSE terms.

No worries

The media will do that for you. I wrote a fanpost right after the game where I used the opportunity to poke fun at the media once again.

Happy belated Thanksgiving to you and your family, HT.

I do. And today you will see why.

Though I did pick Tennessee against Houston last week. ;-)

wow

This far into the season, I’m amazed to see you guys so close in the tally. All within 10 games of each other. What a bunch of groupthinkers! LOL Just kidding!!

Well,

the Chiefs really laid an egg in the first half. 28-7? They play well against the Steelers, but not San Diego? Terrible. They better not play against us like they did last week.
