Strength of Schedule...
I came across this ESPN article about the AFC east and the playoff aspirations for each of the teams.
What was interesting to me was the table included with the article. It is broken up in 2 sections: weeks 1-8 and weeks 9-17. Included in the table are the top teams in the NFL and their respective opponents' record.
Check out where the Broncos lie in the table. Right in the middle weeks 1-8 and, again, right in the middle weeks 9-17.
There is no 'swing' (e.g. Indy, NE). Now, to me, to get through a schedule like this we NEED to be playing consistent football through the end of the season. To have some hope for going deep in the playoffs we will NEED to be playing our best football entering the playoffs. No let downs, our schedule doesn't allow it, but...it's not going to brutalize us along the way.
To me this is exciting.

We have a tough schedule no doubt....
against playoff caliber teams. I’m hoping for a 5-4 record in our final 8…anything better is gravy for me. :)
