Interview with Karl Mecklenburg, A Bronco Great
Hello all,
I am really excited to present you with an interview I conducted on Thursday afternoon with one of my favorite all-time Broncos: Karl Mecklenburg.
I'm sure most everybody, if not everybody on this site has heard of Karl, so you don't need me to get into all of that. The dude was a star, and a jack of all trades, and he did it all despite being a 12th round draft pick out of Minnesota.
He has an incredible story, which is told in his newest book in full, and I am glad that I had the chace to talk to him and hear his thoughts for about 45 minutes. Here is what came from our conversation, and I hope you enjoy!

Meck was on MHR radio, too.
Meck is awesome.
If Taylor Swift were to try and tackle me, I'd let her.
That's Great
They told me he was going to be doing some work on here, and I think that is awesome. I am glad you guys got to hear from him, sorry I missed that segment.

I know this is beating a dead horse with this issue
But the Jay Cutler comment he made absolutely fascinated me and provided new insight on the situation. I know a lot of of us have moved pass this but it was a new take I hadn’t heard before.

For those that don't want to look for it:
Well, I have gotten to know Jay through the Broncos and golf tournaments, and he is a child still. He is more concerned with himself than the team, and when Josh McDaniels came in, he came in with a system that wasn’t going to throw as much, and Jay saw that and put McDaniels in a tough place where he had really no choice but to get rid of him. He wasn’t happy with his contract or the prospect of not throwing the ball as much as he did in the past.
Pretty telling. Long Live #77!
Go Broncos!

Pretty much what I thought from the get go.
It wasn’t hard to read between the lines back then and see what was going on. And for cutlers statements, that makes him a liar.
No pun intended
I am sick of hearing about Jay Cutler in regards to the Broncos, though as long as he is a player, the main thing he will be remembered for is demanding a trade from the Mile High City. Still, I think it was very interesting, like you said, what Meck had to say about the situation. Really cool stuff I think.
