and realistically, there's only 2 games on their schedule that would be considered "easy wins"
although, don’t discount any team when Cutler’s your QB and your defense is giving away a million yards per game.

there’s a lot of bad teams this year. a LOT…still, a middle of the round pick wouldn’t be bad considering the depth of the draft.

They're not going to trade Rivers
but my point was they didn’t think they needed to bring back Turner when he was a free agent (not entirely sure if he would have liked to return to SD anyway) and instead let him walk to Atlanta where he’s been mostly awesome. Like today.

Dude, I watched that movie for the first time last weekend. I never could understand why you would say you were the dude when someone addressed you as Lebowski.
It was the same thing every time. I watched the movie and earned a whole new perspective. I couldn’t breathe through most of it, because I was laughing too hard. I ended up watching it three or four times so I could pick up some of the lines I missed with my laughter.

We made the personnel decision to release him in favor of Berger, so if we made a poor decision, I for one would like to know. Perhaps you wouldn’t. If Kern kicks about the same gross but his net is better in Tennessee, that says a lot about our coverage team.

I think he's going to be fine.
He just needs to get more comfortable out there. He seems to be really staggering after getting the ball initially. Plus,he’s good for a lot more than just running the ball, so it works out well.

I think that alot of us expect him to be Adrian Peterson, but he just needs a lil time to get it together.
Personally, I expect KnoMo to be our LT for 7-9 yrs of excellence.

Even T Davis took a while
to really start to make consistently good decisions. I think he is having to make a big adjustment to the NFL. Missing some preseason didn’t help. I have a picture in my head of how he could look. He’s not there now , but he’s on his way, I believe.

TD wasn’t a 1st round draft pick making a kazillion dollars a season.
Frankly I have been a little disappointed in Moreno. He’s had a case of the fumble-itis. He’s struggled getting the tough yards. He really hasn’t broken any real big plays. He seems to have a hard time running patiently and allowing the holes to open. He also seems to be banged up all of the time. It seems like he goes limping off the field at least once or twice every game.
I know he’s a rook; however, RB is one of the easier positions for rookies to have immediate success.
However, his pass blocking has been outstanding. He’s been a great receiving threat out of the backfield. He’s regularly gets nice 3-7 yard runs and he gets upfield quickly.
For most rookies he’s been impressive. However, he was the 12th overall pick and the first pick for the Broncos. He’s a Denver Broncos running back where late rounders and undrafted guys have repeatedly found success. Therefore, I think the expectations of Moreno are far, far higher than “most rookies”.
I’m definitely not giving up on the kid. But I can’t say that I’ve regularly been “wowed” either.

Long-term good RBs take a while ( and some coaching ) to really develop- it was a Shanahan conceit to think of them as disposable, and interchangeable.

I cannot believe we are even considering Moreno being a bust, right now.
He is 8 games into his rookie season and he is leading all rookie RBs. He is doing a great job right now and can only improve. The sky is the limit for KnowMo.

Seriously, what benefit is it to you to kick the field goal?
You don’t increase the lead to two scores. You might as well take a chance and go for it. If you don’t make it, you give the chargers bad field position, anyways. If you do make it, you run four more plays of time off the clock and maybe score a TD to ice the game. Terrible coaching decision.
