If you abandon the running game at this point then you play right into the Colts strength as a defense. That’s what they want. Still…a run on 3rd and 6 is dumb.

This is all about matchups people. Manning has a 4-0 record against Denver and that’s not a misleading stat, obviously. Another note, this is simply a means of reminding us how far we have to overcome to be a team in the level of the Colts. At this point, I’m looking to see how we compete. Just too bad Chris Baker is an inactive because this type of game is invaluable playing experience.

Hey everyone, who is said to be the BEST FANS in the NFL???
Last time I checked, we were atop that list. We’re down 21-0…this is where the true colors of fans show. I’m staying throughout the game, no matter what the score is. I live for Sundays and I’m not letting the Colts get in the way of it. If we lose, we lose, but we all still love this team.

All week everyone, and I mean everyone kept saying we have to run even if we get down. Now everyone in this thread is screaming to pass and give up the run. For crying out loud this is the premier team in the afc. We are going to be all right. We expected to lose. We have a team that does not quit. Relax…..

Playcalling sucked for most of the first half.
And how the hell is Hillis not getting any carries? Buck is hurt. knowshon, even before he got hurt, was indecisive in his cuts and dancing more than running. Hillis ran with authority and decisiveness next week. Time for the coach to quit being so intractable and let Hillis carry the damn rock.

Coach needs to quit being obstinate and out-smarting himself. Deferring the kickoff and opening with that 2 LB stuff…and staying with it for 2 more series after it clearly wasn’t working…struck me as kind of Shanny-ish.

but it was great to see the d step up, and orton looked confident and solid on all of the the throws save for 1. the run game is strocious, where is that great zone block at? colts just seem too fast for it.
