Broncos fall short against Colts
Colts win again 28-16 to remain undefeated.
The Denver defense really played poorly in the first half as the Colts rang up 21 points. Manning and Clark burned the Broncos secondary for 2 TDS, and Collie had another score.
Orton managed to score in the first half with a TD to Marshall. Marshall had a big day with 200 yards receiving, and 2 TDs.
The Broncos had a couple of fourth and 1 plays that the Colts stopped on runs by Moreno. The offensive line really buckled on both plays, and you have to wonder why they didn't pass.
The Broncos defense played well in the second half, and had three interceptions. Dawkins had 2 interceptions and McBath had 1. Marshall had another big TD score.
The main problem in the game was a a lack of Broncos pass rush, and the Colts defensive line played well against the run. Manning also showed why the Colts are undefeated on the last drive with another TD to Clark.
Hopefully, Dallas will beat San Diego, and the Broncos will win against the Raiders.

I still don't understand trading Doom.
If Taylor Swift were to try and tackle me, I'd let her.
Girl, you don't need to be a 10, as long as you have a good smile and smell like bacon.

huh?
"I just looked across the huddle to see the guys in the huddle with me: great offensive line, great talent at wide receiver, great tight ends, great running backs. If we execute and play the way that we should, it should be tough to stop us."

HAHA!!
Let’s trade a guy who has 15 sacks this year? Guys like that don’t grow on trees and are rarely available. The Colts have only given up 10 sacks this year (I think…mebbe 11) I really didn’t expect sacks today, but was hoping for a bit more pressure.
They have a great Line and a qb who understands defenses and adjusts at the line. On top of that, Manning’s pocket presence makes him one hard guy to take down. Doom makes my shortlist of players we lock up long term in the offseason.
i dont know if the pass rush was a main problem...
in fact, the pass rush led to most of the broncos opportunities. pressure is greater than sacks because it leads to incomplete or int. doom was in mannings face most of the game.
no, the ain problem was missing a starting running back and missing larsen to lead block, leading to an inability to gain the second level or effectiveness in short running yds.
