Congratulations, Beast!
This seems a good time to remember all the things many of us THOUGHT we knew before the season started. Remember? Beast was immature, greedy, slacking, etc. Remember? KO wouldn’t lead a offense or passing attack anywhere near as successful as Shanny’s. Remember? We didn’t have the size and athletic ability in the front defensive 3…. and so many more. Some of these maybe even were accurate then, but are not so much now, and some are just now surprising us with their potential. There are so many other similar examples for this surprising team. I, for one, think Beast has matured dramatically, and am pleased and vastly surprised by that change in my perception. So, with that thought in mind… I, for one, will look at ALL of my beloved Broncos (players, trainers, coaches, etc) as a work-in-progress that I am waiting to surprise me; I am proud for them, for the progress they have made, and quite frankly tremendously impressed with the monster of a team I see beginning to break out of its cocoon. When we are right, not many will beat us, and we are getting more right as the season progresses. Only a few positions in team personnel or coaching need an actual upgrade (SURPRISE!), most just need a little more seasoning. I am going to “hold my horses” on my fatherly tendency pushing for immediate success, and rein in on my griping about any youthful mistakes, and I, for one, am going to just enjoy the ride. It’s a lesson I learned the hard way while raising my kids.
Perfectly said!
I wonder now if Marshall could have been signed for cheaper before the year. Looks like another 100+ catch season and maybe 10-12 TD’s. Doesn’t matter..sign him..he has earned it.

Look at the Orton - marshall connection blossoming right before our eyes .
These 2 guys are tuned into each other bigtime .
Something that really must continue next week and into
the playoffs.

Not bad for a #2
Okay, where are all the folks who spent the whole summer saying BMarsh was not an elite receiver, not a legit #1, ranked him behind Steve Breaston, said he didn’t score enough touchdowns? The same people who wanted to to make a deal with the Jets for linebacker. Yeah, I’m talking to you. You think we’d be in the playoff hunt without him?
