Bears at Ravens on Sunday
Jay Cutler and the Bears are going into Baltimore to play the Ravens on Sunday. The Ravens are the biggest threat to us as a wild-card contender. There is still hope for us to catch the Chargers, but it is looking dim. Please vote in my poll because I don't know who I want to win.
As a Baltimore resident, all I have been hearing this morning about this game is that the local talking heads do not think that the Bears are a threat because "they don't have a quarterback". The Ravens have struggled against teams with good quarterbacks... (they don't give Orton any credit so they discredit the win over the Broncos).
Jay Cutler has been pretty awful this season, but I do not think it is all of his fault. I do think that since Jay has the arm, he can at least throw a few bombs against the Ravens' weak secondary and get a few long ones or a few pass interference calls.

If Taylor Swift were to try and tackle me, I'd let her.
Girl, you don't need to be a 10, as long as you have a good smile and smell like bacon.
The Bears can finish no better than 8-8 just like we did last year.
Even though we had the 12th pick there seems to be more losing teams this year, if the Bear win out we could pick around the same spot, 10-12. That wouldn’t bother me very much because I see our biggest need at G/C and might trade the pick down to pick up a couple later in the draft.
I agree with this for sure
I see our biggest need at G/C
And trading down to grab a couple in the second/third rounds would be a good idea.
We will now discuss in a little more detail the Struggle for Existence.

I disagree
Looking at the schedule ahead and projected wins, I see the bears going 6-10. Based on all the other teams records and projected finishes, I see them tying with Buffalo, and Seattle for the 9th, 10th, and 11th draft spots. How the tiebreakers would end up, who knows. So best case we get the 9th pick, worst case we get the 11th pick. If they win out and go 8-8, We’d probably end up with the 16th pick as I see San Fran, Houston, Tennessee, Pittsburgh, and the NY jets all going 7-9. Who knows though.
I Agree with Kentuckybronco though. I’d like to win out and see Chicago lose. However, if at the end of the season I had to pick between the two, I’d rather Baltermore lost and we got into the playoffs rather than a chicago loss and a slightly better draft pick.
GO BRONCOS!!!
I was just saying, worse case senario.
I do see the Steelers winning out thoughand all those you mentioned may go 8-8. Hard to predict what one will do. Heck the chargers could collapse at 10-6. Highly unlikely but possible.

We don’t need Baltimore to lose to get into the playoffs.
On the other hand, whether they look to trade down or not, a pick in the 9-11 range is better than the 16th or so.
Now where did that Kool-Aid vendor go?
Win out or stay home
This is the test. Do we deserve a spot in the playoffs – I think we prove we do by winning out. The Philly game is our rehersal for the show, if we don’t play well there we can’t count on playing well enough in the playoffs to have a decent shot to advance. I want the best pick we can get from CHI as I believe it may be ‘trade bait’. I get the feeling that McD likes the later picks where he can get coachable players at a great value – that depth thing ya know!
Love it
great dilemma
I ended up pushing go ravens, probably shoulda been more conservative

i cant Jax making it
they have not beated a team with a winning record and have the Colts then the Pats in the next two weeks. I would like to see the ravens lose to the Steelers. Basically all Denver has to do is win their home games and they are in. The 2 teams that can hurt Denver are Pitt and Balt and the Ravens can finish no better than 10-6 whereas the Steelers can finish no better than 9-7. Just win the conf/div games and Denver is in. Denver finishes 10-6 and will have an 8-4 conf record and only Baltimore can move Denver out of the 5 seed. (as long as Denver goes 10-6)

You know what...
It all comes down to how much you trust your team. I believe that we will win out so I voted for the Ravens. It doesn’t make you a better or worse fan if you root for Chicago to win. It’s a matter of personal opinion.

Unfortunately, I want a better draft position.
The Jags will collapse and if the Ravens get in thats okay. I’d rather play the Bengals in the Wild Card anyhow. ;-)

I picked Ravens for better pick
Every single one of us (yes all, do not lie) picked Denver at 7-9 to 9-7 AT THE MOST.
Broncos will finish 10-6. If that is the playoffs then so be it.
We did not expect better this year, too many holes.
IMO the Bears will finish with the 8th pick, THANK YOU
IMO the best option is to trade down, say to about 17-20 and pickup picks 56 and 86.
That would leave Denver with 1,2,2,3,3,4,6,7,7 Now lets build some depth.
Fwiw, Ted predicted 11-5.

Living this close to Chicago
It’s win out and hope the Ravens win. I gotta tell ya between Cutlers woes and Orton’s play the Chicago media CANNOT let it go! Gets better every day.
The QB position is set.
How about...
The Bears and Ravens tie, but Cutler throws 4 Ints??
