NYT - Doctor Who Treated Top Athletes Is Subject of Doping Inquiry
By now, you've probably heard about this guy due to his ties to Tiger. It's only mentioned briefly here, but Chris Simms (and Javon Walker) have both been treated by Dr. Galea. Folks, take a look at this guy's pictures and try to guess how old he is; the guy takes HGH. Once you find out his true age, you'll probably be a bit creeped out (as I was).

Banks works his 2009 Draft do-over, in which he's got Denver still taking Knowshon; at 18 he's got them selecting Louis Delmas over Robert Ayers. Judging by what he's written lately about the Broncos, I'm guessing Banks thinks Ayers is a bust because he lacks statistics...

Morning Doug...Thanks for the Tracks

-Measure your performance against your best competitors and consider how you can use it to beat them the next time!
-Your concious mind can only hold one thought at a time, positive or negative. Which is it going to be???
thanks Doug!
Those that cant coach, compete!
Failing to plan is planning to fail.
All I want is 53 Rod Smiths. Is that asking too much????

These do-over draft articles are just space fillers. Don Banks was bored I suppose.
Ayers at 18 was a bizarre choice since we are trying to turn a DE into an OLB, but he is a work in progress. No one had Delmas rated as a mid 1st round pick so that is ridiculous to suggest we take him. And why? Because Dawkins is been such a bust (Hill or McBath)…
A lot of people did have Harvin rated as a 1st round pick and had we taken him over Ayers, I’d be doing back flips.
The jury is still very much out on Ayers. He was a one year wonder at Tennessee and he has only occasionally flashed impact ability for Denver.
This is my favorite website.
Thanks Doug

RB trouble...
Thankfully it’s the Raiders this week .. but our RB situation is an issue. I wonder if McDaniels will give Hillis a shot this week, given that he’s not a big fan of his so far this year. I’d guess they would go more to a full scale shotgun, 5 wide approach and use the short pass as their runs.
if larsen is back playing, hillis will get touches. if larsen can’t play, we will be picking someone up
A truth can only be expressed and enveloped in words if it is one-sided. Everything that is thought and expressed in words is one-sided, only half the truth; it all lacks totality, completeness, unity.
3rd down
Hillis did a good job early in the season on 3rd down until Larson got hurt. They tried Hochstein as FB and that didn’t work. For 3rd and short you need Larson blocking and Hillis running. Larson is the most under rated Bronco.
... if you have a belief, you will tend to find things that support it. But if you have a prejudice, you’ll move heaven and earth to maintain it. BroncoBear
I hope these injuries are short ones.
Now is not the time to be getting a lot of these at one position.
2009 NBA Champions L.A Lakers
2009 NBA Finals MVP Kobe Bryant
We will absolutely see
Hillis get some carries on Sunday, I have no doubt in mind. Frankly, they have no choice. Hopefully Moreno will be good to go at least. But they have very little RB depth right now. Hillis will get carries and Larsen will be back blocking (I hope).
There's no need to fear, Underdog is here! / Broncos/Dodgers fan in Niners/Raiders/Giants country, and damned proud of it.

CBS – Scared straight? McNair case has negligible impact on NFL infidelity – Mike Freeman
but you wonder how Mike Freeman made that determination.
What about Darius Walker?
He showed a lot in preseason. Is he still on the practice squad? Also what about Gatrell Johnson from CSU? I don’t think he’s on a team…
Walker and Johnson
Walker is on IR at Detroit I believe. After we released him, he was was picked up by the Lions and then got hurt.
Johnson I think is on the Giants roster.
we lost Walker
but picked up a young kid named Lance Ball. 5’9". 200lbs out of maryland.
Precision in thought, concision in style, decision in life.

Big Bill should get a logic-checker
First BW says that Elvis has little chance of getting the sack record as he only has 15 now, and because he didn’t get one against the Colts. Then, a measly four paragraphs later, BW talks about the Hutt being sacked six times in less than a half of play.
Given that the sacker is going up against the sackee, isn’t it logical to assume that by the end of game Sunday Elvis may be a lot closer to 22.5 than he is now? Although a high number, I think it doesn’t stretch the bounds of imagination to picture the terrier bringing down the water buffalo 3 or more times, especially since he had 2 the first time the teams played. Unlikely, yes. A “huge long shot”, not quite yet.
Thanks Doug!
Great quote from Lombardi! And Legwold is right…we cant expect the Broncos to be contenders right away after such an offseason..the future looks good though!
