Yeah, John put it on the front page.
That is truly a sad situation. He was finally getting his act together. My thoughts and prayers certainly go out to his family.
If Taylor Swift were to try and tackle me, I'd let her.

I was shocked to see in Boland's (NFP) article...
…that Winston Moss might be a head coaching candidate this off season. His late hit on Elway as a Raider was one of my favorite Mile High moments, as security guards were dangling off the feet of fans trying to get over the fence at him. It caught the duality of football— Winston Moss, by all accounts a gentleman and scholar off the field, being the dirtiest player on a dirty team, and a bunch of stockbrokers and accountants temporarily losing their heads over the sanctity of John Elway. Oh, nostalgia…

I am nervous about this game. The Broncos suddenly have a lot of injuries, and Charlie Frye is something like 15 times the quarterback Jamarcus Russell is. He’s almost as good as Danny Kannell. We’ll see.
Heh
Me too! But even with memories of last year’s game in Denver still in our minds, I take heart in knowing this Broncos team has a much, much improved defense over that one. Even with some injuries. But psychologically, yeah, they have to be on their game for this one. If they play like they did in KC or even in Indy (sep from 1st quarter), they’ll be fine against the Raiders. But can’t take it for granted.

That OT piece by Monte Poole on the Raiders
is a must read. Not just for Raiders fans either. But the person who most needs to read it, Al Davis, probably won’t bother. Ah well… just makes me appreciate the Broncos franchise all the more.

Yes it does
I am so happy to have Bowlen as our owner. Best one there is. The article makes the whole Lane Kiffen thing really funny now when you look at it from Al Davis side. He does need to read it, but won’t.

Do we really think Al. Davis can operate a PC to read it?
Denver rookie head coach Josh McDaniels doesn't have a grasp on how to build a team." - John Clayton, April 23rd, 2009
Hah hah! Well presumably it was in
the printed newspaper edition as well so no excuses Al. But he only believes in himself, now to his detriment.

I am not concerned
At this point in the season everyone is hurting and lots are probably precautionary
