New to MHR
Hello everyone, I'm new to MHR as of a few months ago. I've been reading all of the weekly columns and fanposts as well as tuning into a few MHR radio shows, and I have to say, I am very, very impressed with this whole community. I'm a diehard broncos fan living in DC and it's been hard to gain any perspective on the Broncos when you're immersed in Redskins info/tv. I've tried to read other online forums in a feeble attempt to look into how the rest of Bronco Nation is feeling. Most of the time, all you'll find is bickering and ridiculous jabs back and forth.
Not that I'm all that saintly, as my personal distaste for San Diego and their abundance of unbearable Phillips is something well documented among those who know me best, but I'd also like to take time to read in depth about the good, the bad, the ugly and the amazing when it comes to our Broncos.
And that's exactly what I've found here at MHR. It's quite literally blown me away on the amount of thought and effort everyone puts into this. The care, the thoughtfulness and the willingness to hear other opinions is what is really amazing about it.
I have a feeling the biggest part of this has to be everyone in this community whether it be the Staff, the other Fanpost authors or everyone who comments and is able to give their own perspectives and their own takes on things.
After enduring all that the Broncos have thrown our way (the Bubby Bristers, the juiced up punters, Jake's beard, my sad Cutler jersey that is now hidden in the deepest depths of my closet, to the exit of Shanahan) this is the first season in a long time where it felt like taking a breath of air and sitting down to figure out what this organization is all about, what it needs to become, and who should be helping along the way. It's inspired hope as well as higher than 8-8 expectations. I know we've had our ups and downs (I was the game at FedEx, so I even saw a microcosm of those ups and downs first hand) but it really is looking sunnier on the horizon.
So just a quick thanks to everyone here for making this a little more enjoyable because that's really what it's all about. Keep up the great work! Cheers to everyone here and I'm looking forward more insight, hilarity, and especially the finish to this crazy season!

Welcome o
When getting Broncos news and discussion, you have found Space Mountain!
All you get from drafting the "best player available" is a team full of good football players.
Cotton McKnight: I'm being told that Average Joe's does not have enough players and will be forfeiting the championship match.
Pepper Brooks: It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for 'em.

no offense but sorry you’re in the middle of redskins land….though they have looked better lately
Glad to see ya orly
One thing though, it’s “Bronco Country” not bronco nation. Bronco Nation is Boise St. Best dang sport site anywhere…MHR.
That's funny...I think.
I only know that because I am a Bronco fan of each…Both are my life as far as sports are concerned…

Welcome aboard O. Glad to have you.
As a fellow displaced fan, I can empathize with your redskins situation. MHR is a home away from home.
If Taylor Swift were to try and tackle me, I'd let her.
Welcome and isn't it grand to have an adult site
you can go to that isn’t filled with football pornography? I know I’ve been amazed at what I learn here and keep learning from the wonderful discourse of knowledgeable fans.

Welcome, from one kind of newbie to another!
But, how can you include Jake’s beard as something that was “endured?” That beard was sent by some kind of higher power, to bless us all with the glory of basking in its presence!
Sorry, did I get carried away?

Beard to neckbeard...It's a Bronco thing I think.
Welcome to the both of you!
