PrintThe Broncos face the Raiders later this afternoon, but there are plenty of early-games that are of interest to the Broncos and their playoff hopes -
- First, the Patriots head to Buffalo to face the Bills. Should the Pats lose their grip on the AFC East, they become factors in the Wildcard Race, though the Broncos hold the tie-breaker.
- Next, we have the Titans and Dolphins from Tennessee. The Dolphins are one of the two teams that can win out and knock the Broncos off on tie-breakers should Denver finish 10-6.
- Lastly, the Jets and Falcons play in the Meadowlands. At 7-6, the Jets could win their final 3 and finish at 10-6, but all 3 teams - the Dolphins, Patriots and Jets are in play for a division title as well.
Of course, the Broncos can make it all a moot point by simply winning their final 3 games and finishing the season at 11-5 - the Broncos control their own destiny - win and they are in.

Things I will be watching:
1. I have Gonzales on my FF team which is making a run in the playoffs.
2. Curious to see how the young QBs will develop.
Are there other interesting things to look for in this game?
I agree, Larsen shouldn’t get any bigger. I am getting tired of his bone crushing hits knocking the pixels off my TV, once they fall to the floor they are very hard to find.
I'll be watching Titans/Dolphins.

and Go Falcons, Titans and Bengals. And, yep, hate to say it… Bears.
I won’t be in the Broncos game threads today alas, because my computer’s in the shop this weekend (after I spilled juice on the laptop last week, don’t ask). Borrowing the g/f’s this morning but won’t for the game. But back on later, will be here in spirit, etc.
Hope the Broncos come with intensity today. No flat game, guys!

Yes, they are basically rebuilding their defense right now, and I don’t know if Belichek is going to rebound from it quite yet. I’d be a fool to say that New England is done, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they have some off years in the next few.

Oh, well Justin Gage caught it along the left sideline of the endzone.
He was falling down close to the sideline and he landed on his chest. So, they had to check for 1) if he caught the ball or if it hit the ground and 2) if he actually landed in bounds with his body
